Clitnon was impeached for doing something that everyone gets, and it didn't hurt a single soul. But Bush can kill hundreds of Americans for no reason, say global warming doesn't exist, hike up gas prices because hes a greedy person, and stay in the office? It doesn't make sense, the republicans only wanted him in office so they could use him as a puppet!

Even Hastert said the FBI was wrong. Jefferson did nothing wrong, and he certainly didnt have sex with a prostitute (Vitters) or diddle underage Capitol Hill paiges (Foley), or snort meth off of a male hookers testes (Haggart), OR try to pick up a stranger man in a publica bathroom (Craig).

Any questions?

btw, here's the link to unconstitutional Jefferson raid.

There have been a little over 3700 U.S. troops killed in Iraq and another 27,500 or so wounded.
According to figures released in June 2007 by the military, the estimated insurgency strength is 70,000. There have been roughly 55,000 insurgents killed in Iraq by U.S. forces. There are no figures on wounded insurgents, but if the ratio is the same as U.S. forces there must have been over 400,000 insurgents wounded.
Something isn't right about these numbers. How could a force of only 70,000 insurgents give 160,000 of the finest equiped soldiers such a hard time? Where are these wounded insurgents getting medical treatment?
Any force that can still be present on the battlefield after suffering 55,000 killed, must be larger than 70,000 men. As Hamlet might say, something is rotten in Iraq. What is up with these numbers?

Is it any wonder anymore as to why there are so many stupid questions and answers on this site ?
BTW , what many of us missed (probably while we were picking up our jaws off the floor) is that the question started out with : 1/5 (or 20%) of Americans can't locate the USA on a map . For those who are mathematically challenged or went to public schools 20% is alot , a whole bunch .

We argue all day long on here about Iraq and President Bush etc , but what we're missing is that people are stupid . Sorry but there's no other way to put it . Stupid is as stupid does .
We handed our education system to the most liberal group in our country . . . . the Teacher's Union . And they failed . No excuses .

Doncha think it's time we take our public education system away from the liberal hands of the teacher's union ?
No child left behind was a start , but we need to finish the job .

What say you ?

Are US Voters allowing this issue to become either Universal Health Care or NOTHING?

That's what this seems like to me, we are going to end up with this issue being about only Universal Health Care and at the end of the day nothing is going to be accomplised.

I do not see any down falls except for big business insurence companies not making profit. The United States spends at least 40% more per capita on health care than any other industrialized country with universal health care while not providing better service on most cases.

17% of Americans don't have coverage and thousands of people die a year from it. Its a sad state when this could be prevented.

Elvira Arellano, 32, who sought refuge to avoid being separated from her U.S.-born, 8-year-old son, was arrested and sent back to Mexico on Aug. 19 after traveling to Los Angeles to attend a rally for the overhaul of U.S. immigration laws.

She now wants to be a " Mexican Peace Ambassador". If she comes back, should we kick her out again?

Epiphany (feeling), a realization or comprehension of the essence or meaning of something or someone. An inspired understanding arising from connecting with profound insight, awareness, or enlightened truth.
Ok...here it goes: Bush and republicans believe in eliminating government as much as possible, believing that its inefficient. Think about it...does this explain why we wound up with Gonzo as our attorney general, A cadaver look a like sleep walker in charge of our security, an FDA that allows our food to be tainted, an EPA that makes it easier for polluters to poison our air, a border patrol that does not stop illegal aliens? Has Bush effectively proven to us that Government is incompentent by the people he has put in charge of runnning various departments..who make sure they look as bad as possible?

"Why of course the people don't want war. Why should some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally the common people don't want war neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country."
