Bush has not committed "Treason, Bribery, or High Crimes", but there is the matter of "Misdemeanor". That term, under English law at the time and in the minds of the Framers of the Constitution, referred to "political crimes" (Alexander Hamilton, Federalist Paper Number 65). This would include, for example, gross incompetence and dereliction of duty.
Consider the mind of anyone constructing an organization and making rules. There has to be some way of getting rid of a poor leader who has done everything wrong, but has not violated a criminal statute. There has to be a category for that and the Framers called it a "Misdemeanor".
The board of directors of every corporation removes a CEO every day of the week for reasons other than murder. A court martial routinely demotes or discharges Lieutenants and Captains for slight incompetence or dereliction of duty.
A president of a powerful nation should be held to the highest standard of competence. Otherwise, why is he there?
There is no question that Bush can be impeached and convicted for gross incompetence and dereliction of duty on 100 occaisions. And that doesn't touch on torture or obstruction of justice concerning US attorneys fired for not going after Democrats.
The reason he is not impeached is because there is a lack of political will. The so-called "liberal" Democrats are mostly conservatives in liberal clothing. Senator Lieberman is not so different than most of them.
Our nation is in terrible shape when its best Congressmen don't know how to lead.

Lying under oath is a serious crime, it undermines our judicial system. Everyone gets hurt. Bush hasn't killed anyone, and if liberal dumbocrats could prove a single thing, they might have tried to impeach him. They do have lots of hot air, and if global warming really is happening, this is the source. You need to stop listening to Algore, he's an idiot with no credentials to make a determination. Liberals have only listened only to those who reinforce what they want to believe and ignore all those who can provide evidence they're wrong. It should come as no surprise they believe in global warming, some of these 'think for themselves' types think America attacked itself on 9/11. As for gas prices, this idiocy can only come from someone with the memory of a goldfish, too young to know better, or, well, someone who's a complete idiot. 40 years ago gas was $.30/gal., a house was 20K, and a new Volkswagon could be had for about 2K. They've all gone up about the same percentage, the same house even more, yet liberals feel the need to lie about gas prices being too high. More likely, they're too stupid to realize they are parroting the horse manure they read on their far left websites.

Clinton was impeached for perjury.
Bush has not broken any laws.
Global warming is more myth than fact 1.NASA even recently admitted that their temps that Gore based his movie on were wrong, the hottest temp in recorded history occured in 1918 NOT in the 90s. 2. It's also a fact that the sun has more eruptions on it than ever before - how is that our fault?
OPEC is responsible for setting the price per barrel for oil/gas. That is a Middle Eastern conglomerate completely seperate from our government - and all countries have to purchase at the same price.
Really, you're more of a puppet than he is.

Exactly, what disturbs me the most though is that people who claim to represent Americans such as Nancy Pelosi do not even have the idea of impeachment on the table!
