I thought we always WAY overproduced corn and it was done on government subsidies to farmers often...

maybe that was "then" or I'm just not remembering correctly, but if we're way over producing, then why is it such a big deal to use some for ethanol? it is just the volume needed?

I'm really looking for some cites or something that may explain this with some fairly up to date numbers...

I think the hostility toward america by the British was born from resentment to being dragged into a war we did not want to fight due to Blair's brown nosing of Hitlers second coming... I mean Bush by the way.

The legalization of prostitution would alleviate a lot of work for our police force, allowing them to focus better on felonies which are much more serious and is a better use of time. More importantly, it would provide AT LEAST hundreds of millions of dollars annually for our economy and NOT to the Black Market and with government regulation added, it would help to control sex trafficking therefore putting abusive pimps out of a job now because the prostitutes would be legal sex-workers with certain rights and protections under law if we change the policy. What I think is most though is that a person should have the right to spend his or her money the way he or she wants so long as it doesn't hurt others. Plus, it's not for me or anyone else to tell somebody, especially a stranger, what to do with his or her own body!

He passes EVERY bill by a Republican controlled house and Senate (talk about the Pork)-except the (2)stem cell and Iraq bills. And look at the loyalty his royal subjects have shown him-all he really wants to do is provide coorporate America cheap labor-they can't get cheap labor with Unions and such wanting health care and other frivolous benefits. He even promised his BASE there wouldn't be a draft...come on ....

The incident: dog excrement found on the roof and windows of the Romney station wagon. How it got there: Romney strapped a dog carrier — with the family dog Seamus, an Irish Setter, in it — to the roof of the family station wagon for a twelve hour drive from Boston to Ontario, which the family apparently completed, despite Seamus's rather visceral protest.

whine incessantly about the Palestinians, and yet they have no regard for the Kurds, their fellow Muslims? Why can't the Kurds have a homeland? Aren't the Kurds a people without a homeland just like the Palestinians? I'm sure it would have nothing to do with them being in your territory (Iran, Syria, Iraq), right, and therefore any Kurdish homeland would invovle you giving up at least some of your territory, right? Do you realize how your subjugation of the Kurds makes you look like the complete hypocrites that you are?

I have often wondered who the President is waving and smiling (sometimes pointing) at when the news media shows him getting off his helecopter at the White House ? They never show the throngs of cheeering supporters behind the cameras.

Im not........Remember,NeoCons, Reactioanries, and Republican Bigots are not strong enough to stand on their own. America rejects them whole heartedly. Their only hope is to shut their opposition down and refuse to confront them publicly in any form.

All these libs out here keep calling Bush, the Bush administration, and anyone who is conservative a Nazi or a dictator and such. Yet no one says anything when Harry Reid blatantly and openly circumvents the Constitution for his own benefit to pass the Immigration Amnesty bill.

No one is forcing you to listen to Limbaugh's show or demanding that you read Coulter's books. Yes, they can both be extremely irritating and probably give you much reason to hate them. But why bother? Why can't liberals just ignore them and not pay them so much heed?

This is my question to those of you disagree with them, but continue to make constant statements about them - Why waste your time by giving such a great deal of attention to people that you despise?
