The current vice president contends his office is not in the executive branch, I am wondering if he is correct.

Of course the VP is a constitutional officer in the executive branch of goverment. However Herr Cheney is a member of the Bush Reich and does not pay attention to zee constitution or das lowly non aryans that oppose him or his Fuhrer W !!

Yes, he is mentioned in Article 2 Section 4 of the US Constitution. Dick Cheney is just showing his god complex. He has slipped out from behind his normal puppet George W. Bush and is afraid of coming into the light of the public.

They all were up until this VP rewrote the constitution for his own benefit. Apparently he is superior in intelligence to the founding fathers.
