All these libs out here keep calling Bush, the Bush administration, and anyone who is conservative a Nazi or a dictator and such. Yet no one says anything when Harry Reid blatantly and openly circumvents the Constitution for his own benefit to pass the Immigration Amnesty bill.

Make sure you spend just a few moments before you answer this question. I think this video speaks tremendous volumes.

The Constitution provides for the open and free debate of issues and the Senate was supposed to be created for equal representation by all states. Harry Reid attempted to prevent any open debate on the immigration bill and was not open to desires of the people in states who were passionate about this issue. We in Louisiana are passionate about the issue because we are directly affected by illegal immigration.

To answer your question Michael H. Follow the M O N E Y. Literally. I'm serious about this. Once you see it as well, everything will begin to fall into perspective. Including the mighty illegal immigration issue.

What provision of the Constitution did Reid violate? Be specific.

Reid may have violated Senate Rules and traditions, but the Constitution remains intact.

These tactics have been used before, by both parties.

ADDITIONAL INFO: The Constitution does not mention anything about free and open debate of issues. Quote me the portion that does. There is nothing in the Constitution that specifies that. Here's the relevant portion:

Article 1, Section 5 of the Constitution states "Each House may determine the rules of its proceedings, punish its members for disorderly behavior, and, with the concurrence of two thirds, expel a member."

Yes, the Senate has a tradition of open debate, but it is not a Constitutional violation if it cuts off debate.

And drop the Nazi and dictator references will you? It just makes you look stupid. Neither Bush nor Reid have done anything to come close to either.

I think comparing the crimes of Harry Reid and that of the Bush administration is laughable. Reid tried an unorthodox tactic in the senate to try to pass something he believes in. The Bush administration is responsible for hudreds of thousands of deaths, butchered the Bill of Rights, is guilty of extreme corruption this country has never seen and argued that disagreeing with the administration means "you're against freedom." I think it's obvious the Nazi's are the neo-conservatives not Harry Reid.

**** BUSH.

Down with Big Brother.
