Is he just most comfortable in the role of criticizing our military?

First he accuses them of atrocities in Vietnam, then he accuses them of terrorizing civilians in Iraq, now he says military service and education are mutually exclusive. Is he still a military hero, or should he have thrown his own medals over the White House fence instead of someone else's?

Clinton cut billions of dollars of waste in peace time out of the military budget and republicans went and started another war that will not end for 40 years .
Just like after ww2 .
Every democrat wanted peace talks and every republican wanted to build more weapons .
Well we have tons and tons of weapons and we can not handle Iraq .
A bunch of goat herders living off oil money .Who have a nasty habit of wanting weapons and bombs .
As a liberal i would steer clear of these nuts till they rippened a bit .

I’m not going to be lectured by a stuffed suit White House mouthpiece standing behind a podium, or doughy Rush Limbaugh, who no doubt today will take a break from belittling Michael J. Fox’s Parkinson’s disease to start lying about me just as they have lied about Iraq. It disgusts me that these Republican hacks, who have never worn the uniform of our country lie and distort so blatantly and carelessly about those who have." - John Kerry press release

First let me ask everyone who just wants to rant to please find somewhere else to do it. I want real and honest debate. That being said here is the question:

If the religion of Atheism uses evolution to explain our existence and some Christians use intelligent design, and neither THEORY can be proved or disproved, why is evolution the only theory allowed to be taught in public schools? Does anyone else feel that other theories, not exclusive to intelligent design, should be given equal time. After all, by stating that there is no God, the theory of evolution already brings religion into the picture. It is saying that God does not exist. Is this not a religious belief of Atheism? And, shouldn't be banned along with the intelligent design? I suggest that instead of banning one or the other on the basis of religion, we give equal time to both and stress that both are just THEORIES. This would allow our youth to make their own decisions. Why should we dictate that?

Personally I would never vote for Bush and anyone who tells me that because I don't vote for him or agree with his policies is someone who has forgone democracy for a dictatorship. Must we all think alike?

I have looked for them for years now and none can be found .
I get politicians who make promises but never keep them .
Conservatives are suppose to get government out of your life and instead all we get is, more ,more ,more .
When was the last time we had an agency cut back except in services provided to the people .The same number of workers show up but after paying them the people they are suppose to serve get nothing .Until you reduce your staff no real cuts have been made . Reducing E.P.A. funds does not cut staff but reduces its effectiveness .Same as the parks department ,same amount of staff ,just a smaller budget .
When will real conservatives reduce the number of people tax payers must support .
Government jobs are growing all the time and we the tax payers have an increasing burden put upon us every year as they add more .
Real conservatives want less government less laws and more choice for people to make and live with .

I guess that I am considered a Republican.
I support our President.
I am comfortable with the operations of his administration.
I think the war is a neccisery evil (or good).
My point is that soon, America will have a new leader.
Who do you think should be the next President?
McCain, Obamba, Kerry, Clinton, Powell, Lieberman?

Since their resumes are the same and their opinions are bought... Isn't the real reason campaigns focus on smearing the other guy is because there is so little actual difference between the two candidates that this is the only way they can set themselves apart?
