First let me ask everyone who just wants to rant to please find somewhere else to do it. I want real and honest debate. That being said here is the question:
If the religion of Atheism uses evolution to explain our existence and some Christians use intelligent design, and neither THEORY can be proved or disproved, why is evolution the only theory allowed to be taught in public schools? Does anyone else feel that other theories, not exclusive to intelligent design, should be given equal time. After all, by stating that there is no God, the theory of evolution already brings religion into the picture. It is saying that God does not exist. Is this not a religious belief of Atheism? And, shouldn't be banned along with the intelligent design? I suggest that instead of banning one or the other on the basis of religion, we give equal time to both and stress that both are just THEORIES. This would allow our youth to make their own decisions. Why should we dictate that?
