He was trying to say something about those without money winding up going into the military and getting the opportunity to go to college and have a real job.... at least i think thats what he was trying to say.... did he mention failing out of college in that...? i dont remember... if he did what an ***... I think he tried to make the wrong point and he made it very badly... he hs come off looking like a jerk... way to go Kerry!

Becuase he is an arrogant, liberal boor who has no idea of how to keep his big yap shut.

How in the world did that man get elected to Congress after declaring, under oath in front of a Congressional Panel, that he had personally committed war crimes??

He didn't that is another political stunt to say that.
He was just saying the truth most politicians who make the laws and call for war or not usually the ones who go to war.
It is usually poor boys who go to war because they don't have the money for college. they go in the military so when they get out they get help with college tuition. People who are rich and can afford to send their kids to college don't need help.

........I think he was trying his hand at a humorous response and it was read wrong by of course the "others". I agree with the two responses above me!!!! Hey it is always scary when you leave yourself open to interpretation...it can go wrong if "some" people put their spin on it.
