Speaking of not having a plan, I'm curious, just what is the plan here? If you don't mind me asking...

We paid down 1/2 the debt -- whaaaa???
And as for "rising the GDP", do you not know why we have our bank rate set at 5.25%? To *slow* the GDP growth down. So, uhm, now what is your reason for the tax cut again?
You guys can't be this stupid.
How about the truth: Raise the taxes, but put the burden on the middle class. Or, eliminate social security and medicare! Or, continue to do nothing, and see how long we can stay in power before the US croaks.

Cut taxes on rich people. If you cut taxes, then the government has less money. Then it can use that less money to pay off the growing debt from the increased expenses. Then the rich people will take all their extra money from the cut taxes and use it to help the country, because rich people always want to spend their money on other people.

There is no plan. And no, the national debt has not been cut in half, it continues to grow unabated. Only the yearly deficit has been reduced somewhat due to increased revenues but the real deficit is not being shown as many things are off-budget or accounted differently.
The tax cuts alone did not increase GDP, it was a combination of that, low interest rates and other economic factors that have brought the economy back. One of those being infusing the military-industrial complex with several hundred billions dollars with fighting the wars.

Its difficult for me to answer this, cause I don't know the answer, but I know how to find stuff on-line, but that doesn't mean I'll give you an answer to agree with or an answer I may agree with. Anyways, with that disclaimer. Here is a link to the Presidents plan (it's like half way down the page).

A great economy. If there was any surplus in the 00s, the Clinton recession would have taken it to a deficit. The tax cuts propelled the GDP, that's why the budget is better than anyone had thought.

More tax cuts for the rich "to stimulate the economy"? It's the trickle down theory. The only problem is the only thing that trickles down on me is their piss.
