This prominent GOP lawmaker is expressing doubts about my leader's policies in Iraq!

If my Republican party is going to start casting slings and arrows at my visionary and honored leader, I'm thinking I may just have to push the buttons for a few Democrats in two weeks!

why did madeleine albright, working under clinton, support the fight against the Serbs, who were only trying to protect themselves from a muslim invasion? the only good thing that came out of it is that people cant say that America is completely against islam.

I haven't really been following the news much but when I saw my president dressed in his former military flight jacket saying "mission accomplished" I said hallelulujah and threw down the remote and thought to myself that there is a man who had a visionary plan and saw to it that the job was done. Now I'm watching the news again and am slightly confused by whether the mission is still in process or not?

Did I hear my president correctly or did he mislead me? If I can't get this figured out, I'm thinking of voting Democratic in two weeks!

Reports are that they are pressing the NATO forces in Afghanistan now. If we hadn't invaded Iraq, the Taliban wouldn't have figured out how to effectively fight us. Atta boy, George, Dick, and Condi.

I hate the idea of choosing between the party whose platform I disagree with least. Why are third parties always on the fringe, or stomped out real quickly (like the reform party)? Are people really that happy voting either Democrat or Republican?

I asked a question an hour ago about what 5 issues were the most important to you. I received a lot of good responses like the following:
National Security
Immigration/Border Control
Education Reform
Government Spending/Budget
War
Health Care Reform
The Environment
And a lot of other issues........

So I guess my question is, how do we get our government to avoid the bickering and focus on these issues?

Please do not answer with – By not voting for Republicans/Democrats

Before Talk Radio came along, we didn't live in a politically polarized nation; now I wonder how long it will be before there is blood in the streets. Are Republicans and Democrats headed toward a bloody civil war?

In referring to Iraq, I would have sworn that he has said dozens of times that we were there to "stay the course" until our mission there was accomplished.

I was never sure what our mission was but I understood the stay the course part but now I'm totally confused and thinking of voting Democrat!

Do you get confused by George sometimes too?

Just kidding. I want to be convinced that a few conservative posters here are more than juvenile name callers, hiding behind the anonymity of the internet and actually welcome an exchange of ideas, rather than telling me what I believe and why I'm wrong to believe that way and referencing everything to the Clinton presidency and Chappaquidick. Can any conservative out there restore my faith that, although we may disagree on many things, we can actually speak with a measure of civility and exchange ideas instead of just insults? Can any liberal do the same?

Not a Blair-ite but I would like to see what people think about a scenario where Blair did not join forces with Bush. If Bush had gone in alone I cannot imagine how things would have been different for,
a) for the unfortunate Iraqis
b) Sadaam
c) the threat of terrorism in the UK/West, given the general anti-West sentiment communiciated by certain muslims.

Question- has Blair actually been able to moderate Bush's action plan? We will never know........

I noticed that a lot of people were complaining about things being reported and I assume deleted or something. What types of things(other than profanity) would cause a question or answer to be deleted? What happens when something is reported? Is the person being reported against notified?

This morning my administration released the budget numbers for fiscal 2006. These budget numbers are not just estimates, these are the actual results for the fiscal year that ended February the 30th.
-- Dubya releases budget numbers for a fiscal year
that apparently ended on a fictional date,
Washington, D.C., Oct. 11, 2006

Not only does February not have 30 days,
but the fiscal year itself doesn't end in February anything.
It ends on September 30th

Is Bush so out of it he doesn't even know
how many days in Feb. or when HIS budget is put out?

A million people, a thousand thousand people have contracted AIDS in America, they have a very low probobility of surviving. It is PROVEN that HIV has a higher probobility of spreading in homosexual couples, it is PROVEN that the only way to contract HIV is to have had sex with someone who already posseses the disease(blood-transfusion was fixed a long time ago), this means that they only way to get this and other STDs is to HAVE SEX WITH MULTIPLE PARTNERS, and yet anyone who points this out is called a homophobe or is accused of taking the "moral high ground," when will people realize that STDs ARE caused by immorality, they are not the fault of the governement, or societal messages, or racial images, or George Bush they are the fault of the people who give and contract them. Especialy that of those who give them, don't give me bullshit about "natural sex drive" if you contract a fatal STD you stop having sex, to have sex with someone while possesing an STD is tatenmount to murder.
