A lot of people think it would show that Bush was un-happy with the results so far .
This would help to get some republicans re-elected but I believe it is to late at this point .
So many people feel the war is going badly and not get the kind of results that people would like to see .
Until there is peace in the streets of all the major cities in Iraq no progress towards re-building can occur .

I know of a few republicans that are very unhappy with the way good ole' Don is handling the war (see: fiasco) in Iraq. We passed the crossroads whence we had the chance to win the Iraqi people's hearts. Now there is either more of the same or worse to look forward too. Those are the words I have heard used (by many military folk that lean to the right)

Some of them think so, not because they think he is wrong, but because they think he is a political liability, - being the failure and disaster we are faced with in Iraq, , and the whole world knows it, even the dummies in the Republican party know it.
