Recently 7 stadiums were threatened with dirty bomb - Nothing happened and it was openly said that the threat wasn't credible

But - is it likely that the US will be attacked with a massive chemical - nuclear or other type of bomb from within ?

Will it be timed around the elections or have more to do with when the terrorists can get it together than any particular date?

As soon as the US is attacked who is the most likely nation America will blame and or go after first ? Iran ? N Korea ?

People are upset with the current internation policy. If the Republican retain control of congress and things do not improve much by 2008, wouldn't that set the stage for a Democratic clean sweep in 2008?
If the Democratics win some control back now, don't you think that would create a share responsibilty if things continue to go badly for the next two years? Wouldn't that give a Republican presidential candidate a better chance of winning in 2008?

Even if you do not like the president of the United States you should support him. And it offends me that you would call me an idiot for supporting MY PRESIDENT. America is the best country to live in. If it wasn't, we would not have as many people moving here from other countries as we have. Seriously, stop being jerks. Support your country if nothing else. If you don't want to support your country and your president then move and let the people that actually love this country live here.

Senatorial candidates? The ones that you might vote for. Name your candidate and tell us why you chose him/her. What did your candidate say that made you like them?

As long as Iraq is on fire, the Democrats should have a cake walk to the White House in 08. And Jimmie Bob Baker knows that. That's why he wants to pull the troops out immediately after the November elections.

That would be a disaster. We need Bush to keep the troops in there for two more years so we can get a Democrat in the White House.

How are we going to do that??? Is our best strategy to challenge Bush's manhood (kind of hearken back to his frat boy days): "Hey Bush you wimpie dress wearing girly boy, you gonna let those ##^%$#ing &**$*$#en muslims wipe your #%@^@@$%ss all over the world stage??? Or you gonna be a man and fight back?""What are you Bush? Chicken?? Buk Buk Buk Buk."

Is this our best strategy of keeping the troops in Iraq?

"Anchor George Stephanopoulos was asking Bush about comments from James A. Baker III, who has said that the independent commission he co-chairs is pursuing alternatives to "cut and run" or "stay the course" in Iraq.

Said Bush: "Well, listen, we've never been stay the course, George. We have been -- we will complete the mission, we will do our job and help achieve the goal, but we're constantly adjusting the tactics, constantly."

I know this sounds silly, but I am questioning my party affiliation and would like to have non-partisan advice or information about the different political view points. Is there a web site that you are familiar with that gives straight, honest information. Please, only serious responses. Your personal beliefs will have no bearing on my decision.

Why do people blame our war on terror for causing people to join hate groups like al Qaeda?

I wouldn't join the Black Panthers no matter how many crosses were burned in my yard. I wouldn't join them even if my kids were killed by Klansmen. People are inclined to join these groups out of years and years of brainwashing and promises of grand rewards. Terrorists are not created overnight.

I'm not guessing here, I just posted the question. it was overwhelming. And many indicated that the new citizen would have to read/speak English to even understand the candidates/issues. OK . I agree with that.. . . . . But, do you think that native citizens should have to understand the candidates/issues as a requirement to vote? i don't know how this could be implemented, but if there's a way, I'm for it. And proud to say it! What say you?

They want to die. So killing them is not a deterent. I am thinking old style chaingangs might be a good method of getting the point across. Chain them together and make them clean the streets. Issue cattle prods to the guards.

I listened to a news story that Obama has almost certainly decided that he will run for President.

I would like to have concrete examples of his legislative accomplishments in his 2 years in Congress. I would like other examples of things he has done.

I am uninterested in your opinion of him whether you like him or not I would just like an overview of the things he has done.
