He's got a great future in politics. I'm just not sure he's ready for a WH run yet.

He hasn't been around long enough for anyone to read what he real opinions are.
He is just starting to step into the spotlight. Other politicians are around a lot longer than him before making that jump.
I don't know enough about his policies (he doesn't have a long voting history to study) to make a decision either way. But the election is two years away, he'll be tested between now and then.
He's a bit left of moderate, but he is not in the same class as Clinton, Pelosi or Dean.

He hasn't been in the public eye for more than a couple years -- while my first impression of him is a good one (moderately liberal, intelligent, articulate, and good at actually winning elections), you never know how he might turn out in the long run. Just look at Harry Reid - the guy seemed honest enough at first, then he turns out to be a money grubbing wasp cut from the same mold as Bill Frist.
So, what's bad about Obama?...
- Don't know enough about him
- New to national politics
- Too young/inexperienced to get elected President

He is a Senator. 52 Senators ran for president and lost 0 won.
The history and stats are not wrong Senators do not become presidents.
If he wants to be a president he needs to become a Governor first.

I hate liberals and democrats for the most part, but I happen to find this guy likable, even if he is a two-faced hypocrite. My question to you is WHY WOULD YOU vote for a 2 year Senator that has accomplished NOTHING!!!!!

Nothing. Now that the bar has been lowered so drastically, lab monkeys could be president and probably do a better job!

He doesn't realy take a strong stance on anything. He likes to sit on the fence. The only reason people started saying he should run is because he's a good speaker.
