would we end up with effectively NO military if the liberals had their way? they seem totally uninterested in national security, its like they expect the whole world to just leave us alone if we had no defence, thats naive. maybe they want other countries to take over. they arent expected to give away all their liberties for national security, but what do you want to hide if a guy calls you 4 times a day from syria? its not like the government wants to or can listen to everyone. its logistically impossible to listen to every phone call in the country.
how would democrats have it? no security, no military, appeasement for all, let non-citizens vote? ya thats all we need, to let "taliban nationals" to vote.

The Manhattan-based public-interest law firm is defending the North American Man-Boy Love Association in a $200 million civil lawsuit filed by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Curley. The Curleys claim that Charles Jaynes was driven by the literature and website of NAMBLA, an outfit that advocates sex between grown men and little boys, reportedly as young as age 8.

As ACLU of Massachusetts Legal Director John Reinstein sees it: "Regardless of whether people agree with or abhor NAMBLA's views, holding the organization responsible for crimes committed by others who read their materials would gravely endanger important First Amendment freedoms."

I have read answer after answer from mis-informed Republicans saying that the U.N. approved the U.S.'s requests regarding North Korea sanctions.

The truth is that Robert Bolton went to the U.N. and requested for the U.N. to join in the United State's desire for military action to be taken NOW against North Korea.

The U.N. took a vote and decided that no military action was warrented and that only sanctions are in order at this time.

Why all the ignorance, Republicans?

Been watching FOX News again?

why do you think conservatives have no emotion? if i want to give to the poor, let me give it my way, since i dont trust the government with my tax money. just because someone doesnt want to give taxes, it doesnt mean he doesnt want to give! the government is horribly inefficient, no matter what party controls it. it would be more efficient to let people give directly to organizations if they want, and not be forced into giving through the terrible government and letting THEM decide where it goes. you accuse us of being greedy as well, not all of us are rich you know! i dont have millions of dollars. i dont even have a million dollars.

race and class warfare at its best folks. democrats, do you know exactly where your tax dollars will be going? do you realize that lower taxes have stimulated every low tax economy on earth?

i recently saw some report on CNN about a poor mexican and a wealthy american, and the difference between the two. AS IF there were no poor americans and no rich mexicans! i see constantly the anti-americanism on these stations, even on fox news. fox news is just as liberal as the rest, but in a more subtle way. ya, sure, show a poor guy crying on tv, and demonize the rich. when will america and the american media quit being anti-rich, anti-american, and anti-white? doesnt it sound like communism when a group of people want to prevent you from being successful, and/or having more than someone else?

Several recent studies suggest conservatives may be predisposed against intellectual and emotional independence and maturity.

KID POLITICS | Whiny children, claims a new study, tend to grow up rigid and traditional. Future liberals, on the other hand ...

Remember the whiny, insecure kid in nursery school, the one who always thought everyone was out to get him, and was always running to the teacher with complaints?

Chances are he grew up to be a conservative.

The confident, resilient, self-reliant kids mostly grew up to be liberals.

The study from the Journal of Research Into Personality isn't going to make the UC Berkeley professor who published it any friends on the right. Similar conclusions a few years ago from another academic saw him excoriated on right-wing blogs, and even led to a Congressional investigation into his research funding.

Similarly, in 2003 John T. Jost of Stanford and colleagues reviewed 44 years worth of studies into the psychology of conservatism, and concluded that people who are dogmatic, fearful, intolerant of ambiguity and uncertainty, and who crave order and structure are more likely to gravitate to conservatism.

Apparently it was a bit contrversial and seems to have completely dissapeared from the public domain.

Why is it that when a Democrat is suspected of doing something wrong there is a huge "temper tantrum" style scandal spread right away, but the Republicans are in office for years and years before their scandals are brought out to the public?

Why are the Republicans always in evil nasty scandals? Let's not forget Eisenhower and his teapot scandal where he was having an extramerital affair over in England, then Nixon and the watergate scandal, then Reagan, the first divorced president ever, and his Contra-Gate scandal... George Bush the greater and his "Wimp" scandal, and now this Geroge Bush the lesser, and his torture and lies scandals?

Let's for fun say that the white people of South Africa decided that they wanted to retake political power in that country. They begin guerilla warfare tactics in an effort to disrupt and dismattle the democratic system in that country. U.N. peace keepers rush in to try to quell the violence, but sadly are unable to keep many black South Africans from being killed by these unreasonable guerilla warriors. Are the U.N. peace keepers the murders? Did they start the sectarian violence?

Why would you condemn the U.S. in Iraq for fighting agaist racism if you wouldn't condemn the U.N. in that situation? Do liberals love racism that they don't support our policing effort in Iraq? Do you think we are so much more evolved than Iraqis that we can get past sectarian violence but they can't? Does that make liberals racists?
