Honestly? This shows there needs to be an investigation so this NEVER happens again - beit inside workings, government sponsored terrorism or just criminal neglegence.

Long article, but everyone needs to read it, if you have time. To sum it, Muckracker requested a FOIA (freedom of information act) release of the Bin Laden and all paper trails that connect with it - showing where it came from and how it got into the government's hands.

The response was, "The Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs conducted a search of its files and located no records responsive to your request."

The DOD themselves held the press release in 2001 and showed the tape.

I don't care who you support, they are covering something up. Even if it is simply neglegence. This goes beyond party lines because this wouldn't stay supressed unless DEMS WERE HELPING THE SUPRESSION.

This is people covering everyone's hides and who knows who is paying.

The Liberals are full of power hungry twits so we may as well all just go jump in the river and get it over with as the future looks like more of the same Thatcher...Major....Blair.....if you think it can't get worse - it will - sad to say but it will get worse - will it not?

Chavez would drop the price of oil to $50 a barrel, "not too high, a fair price," he said -- a third less than the $75 a barrel for oil recently posted on the spot market. That would bring down the price at the pump by about a buck, from $3 to $2 a gallon.

But our President has basically told Chavez to take his cheaper oil and stick it up his pipeline because Bush is an ignorant delayed hick and war criminal.

So we Americans lose and the power elite keep finding new and interesting ways to funnel your money up the pipe to their bank accounts.

VIVA CHAVEZ!!!

Noam Chomsky is famous for speaking his mind, even if that means criticizing U.S. foreign policy. He often talked in his lecture about injustices happening in the world and how U.S. as a sole superpower is not doing right things to promote peace and properity in the world.
I watched number of interviews of him and he seemed genuine and outspoken, not afraid of talking about tough issues. What is general American's view of Noam Chomsky? Has any of you read his book, "Hegemony or Survival: America's Quest for Global Dominance?" If yes, what do you think of the book? Thanks in advance for any insights.

"We were feet from Bin Laden and could have had him at anytime" or is he lying now about how hard he tried to get him?

After the Civil War, slavery was outlawed, and the plation owners slaves, which they paid for and which greatly contributed to produciton on the plantations were freed by the government and they were given no compensation. As a result many plantation owners lost there property (slaves) and went bankrupt, and the goverment never paid them back. I hear all this talk about blacks getting paid compensation for there ancestors being enslaved, but what about the land owners who had there property taken from them, shouldn't there ancestors who were robbed get something? How would you like it if someone stole your property and ruined you? What do you think?

He gets the label of being a hero by being a complete PC , pandering whore. What if he said Budh was GOD?...could you imagine!

anyway I think he is a liar and acrook..typical of most South American politicians...he id way out of league to make such comments...he should be kissing bushes a ss for what he did for him in oil profits...what a goon
