I wonder why these guys haven't enlisted yet?

Probably because they realize that they wouldn't be definding the US at all, but just promoting the Imperialist agenda of Bush and his cronies that have already said that they want world dominance!

They also don't realize that the armed forces are already stretched way too thin as it is, there is no way to fight yet another war with the troops we have available...unless we want to start a nuclear holocaust!

There is no reason to be attacking these people. The IAEA was right in Iraq...there was no WMD. The IAEA is right now...they are supervising the enrichment of Uranium and are saying that it is only being enriched to the level of fuel for nuclear energy, not to the level of weaponry. Iran doesn't even have missles that would reach here even if they had nukes...and we had no system for destroying them in mid-air...which we do.

Cowards tend to be bullys. Bullys tend to be ignorant. Some people just like to hurt people, regardless of whether there is a good reason or not. All it takes is their leader (who has lied to them about every single issue) tell them that they are in jeopardy from some fanatics in the desert thousands of miles away and are too poor to eat, and they will give up all civility, humanity, rights, freedom, and democracy to be kept safe from this "looming terror". Cowards the lot!

Stop screwing with people, and they won't attack you, you morons!

Nah. Not likely.

To Birdsnake: Hopefully, you're wrong. I keep wondering if the reason the boomers keep comparing Iraq to Vietnam is that they're looking for an excuse to riot.

Folks, Vietnam was nothing like Iraq. If we leave Iraq, every radical terrorist the world over will want a piece of us. Look at Spain. And soon, France.

"and girls, except homosexuals of course"

Women still can't be in active combat... and homosexuals are in the don't-ask-don't-tell sort... if we were to make it a no-homosexual army... a lot of straight guys would say they're gay to get out of war... especially if they don't support the war.

I doubt there'll be a draft. It would be political suicide and could damage us domestically.

If there is, ok.... I won't run from a draft. I'm a liberal, I hate Bush, I hate this war we're in but if drafted I'll go.

Bring it!!!! This country is a great country and has been good to me. If I have to fight to defend it, so be it.

I dont know where youre getting your information from but we are nowhere close to a draft. The only way we would need a mass enlistment is if WW3 broke out. And if WW3 broke out, a draft is going to be the least of your worries........ Try nuclear holocaust.

Oh....you liberals are going to try this lie again? Don't you think you should come up with another lie since this lie didn't work the last election. I mean you said this would happen in 2004. What's taking so long? And how come it only comes up at election time? C'mon, you people can do better than this! You people lie good; I've seen it!

Nope, I'm not fighting in any wars that aren't provoked by the enemy. 9/11 was provoke and we took out the Taliban and alquida. Iraq was instigated and we should not be there. If we start it I'm not fighting screw dying for another mans cause.

There should be a rule that all children of Politicians are on the top of the list... maybe then, they would think twice before starting unnecessary wars.

First, I already went the first time. Desert Shield/Storm
Second, I highly doubt there will be a draft.

Why, would you go to Canada if the call came?

They're ready!!!!
Every generation is ready!!!!!!
For every little sissy liberal traitor, there are a hundred strong and brave men and women ready to defend their country.
80,000 new recruits since Jan 06.
2/3 re-enlistment.
We are ready. We always have been. And always will be.

(Traitors thought they defeated us in Nam. But they didn't. The Democrat Politicians defeated us. Maybe they will again.)
