Mr. Clinton claimed that he tried to kill Bin Laden in an interview with Chris Wallace and is attempting to write history again. Now I have never blamed Mr. Clinton for 911, but for him to claim he tried to kill Bin Laden, but never got the chance stands in stark opposition to the facts. Mr. Clinton was offered Bin Laden on a silver platter by the Sudanese government but refused the offer. Mr. Clinton claims this never happened also, but I am providing a link to a tape where in his own words he tries to explain why he refused. We are constantly slammed by liberals with claims of Mr. Bush lied. Will they take their own patron saint to task for the same type of behavoir, or will they tow the partisan line, and give him a pass? The real question is are you offended by this latest tactic to write history, by someone who has been a known liar in the past? My money is on total hypocrisy from the left!

we are told the real truth most of the time?

Do you have any reasons or things to back up your opinion?

If you believe we get a lot of propaganda, 1. why is this so, 2. does it bother you and 3. what can we do about it?

Do answer this question fully. Thank you.

force conversions at the point of a gun and also have that potential to actually do so. And also If they let you live, make you pay exta taxes.

OR do you think this is propanganda by those in high places to allow for wars, campaigns of fear, and justifications for secret plans they might have.

Does it make you scared or do you fight fear as you either don't believe it, think it's an impossibility and feel your emotions are being manipulated?

Please give some backup, genuine reasoning or links for your opinions. Thanks.

So the new President is elected in November 2006 ?

The new guy sits around in the waiting room until 2008?

I am used to our syestem I guess ?

The PM serves a term up to 5 yrs but gets to call the election any time he wants to (as long as it is before the 5 years is up) and then "Elections Canada" takes over the process the campaign can not exceed X number of days and no one is allowed to campaign X number of days (I think 1 or 2 ) just prior to the vote.

The vote is counted and that is the new guy is in within a week or two. Goes to the Governor General tells her (or him) he intends to form the government they do some paper work the new PM names a cabinet they are sworn in - thats that .

So it seems odd and confuseing to me that you hold an election now.

What does the new guy do for two years? I can't believe I've lived beside you guys my whole life and in the US for 4 years and not noticed this oddity -

Everyone is talking about Bush as if he is going to have an influence for a long time ?

Truth is the clock is ticking - so whatever is near and ear to his heart that has been left undone is going to have to be done fast.

What do you think he will do with the remainder of his term? If anything.

"An authoritative United States intelligence report pooling the views of 16 government agencies concludes the US's campaign in Iraq has increased the threat of terrorism."

"The report, Trends in Global Terrorism: Implications for the United States, points out the "centrality" of the US invasion of Iraq in fomenting terrorist cells and attacks One section ... describes how the American presence in Iraq has helped spread radical Islam by providing a focal point for anti-Americanism."

To me, the report's findings were already self-evident. How can the U.S. expect that invading and occupying a sovereign nation can do anything but increase Anti-american sentiments among the occupied?

The report only solidifies a notion that many have held from the beginning: The United States' foreign policy of aggression and domination is what truly propels international terrorism.

I am australian and I know i am going to get a torrent of abuse from patriotic americans as i'd say most people on this site are american
.i have lived in america 3 times and went to school there, so i am not just making claims about somehwere i have never been.

Why do americans often assert that america is the best and how great it is and then they turn around and complain about george bush (OK did u vote? if the answer is no then u hav absolutely no right to complain), the death penalty (which appears to occur more in USA than other western countries), unemployment coz they don't hav any social security, pollution (when american cars are pretty much the biggest in world).

I'm not saying everything about america is bad. I'm just making the point that how can u b so patriotic yet complain about 'the lucky country' so much? What makes american so patriotic? is it saying the pledge everyday in school?

I'm a registured independent.... I have a real hard time supporting Bush even though I think he might be right a lot of issues. But he is making the governments of the world lose respect for us and this is dangerous to our security. It is creating political instabiliy for our nation and increasing our vulnerability from terrorist. He is more of a problem then those muslim extremeist. I think we should abandon Iraq.... save our soldiers... let those fanatic psychos over there kill each other. That way there will be less of those jihad assholes. Your opinion?

What I'm refering to is when you answer a question? Under the persons question it says, minutes ago, day(s) left to answer, answers. Theres usually a (0) in the answers thing. I wanna get the points so I really put on my thinking cap to try to give a good answer. I'm figuring what the hell, theres (0) answers so maybe I'll get lucky. After typing my answer and submiting it, all the sudden out of nowhere theres like 15-20 answers above mine. What the fluck is that all about? I feel I was set up. Is it a conspiracy? Are they really out to get me?

Al Qaeda is going to detonate a nuclear bomb in New York City. He claims to have nuclear technology, and he has warned the U.S. three times-a critical step in Islam. He failed to do so before 9/11, and was heavily criticized by his followers. Now he has done so, and has warned all Muslims living in the U.S. to leave every major American city.

I believe that he is going to nuke New York soon. I got all of this info from Glenn Beck. He spoke with a reporter who talked to one of Osama bin Laden's contacts.

I believe that it is actually going to happen.

It seems there has been a climate of "war of words" going on in the USA and the world too. Do you think words lead to wars? How can we counter the vemon that many talk show host like to spew which creates a culture of hatred rather than mutual repect and understanding and peace? Do you feel there may be a deep seeded desire in many to reach a goal to enact violence towards others behind the hatred born out of extremism?
