Why is it that those who never wore a uniform and are confident that they won’t have to personally fight this war are more anxious for this war than our generals?

A) Our generals know what it's like to be in combat, and know that military force should always be the last option taken.

B) Our generals don't stand to profit from instability in the world oil market. Obviously, oil company exectives have made BILLION$ by jacking up the price of oil any time there was a hint of a possible shortage. Was there ever a shortage? Well, all I can say is that three days after Katrina, we still had gas at every store.

C) People who have never seen war first-hand think that it's like all those John Wayne movies they saw a kids. All glory and duty and cameraderie and going to USO shows. They've never actually seen a kid with his guts blown all over the highway, or a house full of women and kids where the roof caved in on them after an airstrike. Anyone who has ever SEEN war knows that it is a thing to be avoided unless absolutely necessary. Which this one was not.

They are called "Chickenhawks".

And it is ever thus.

The really bad thing is how many people of limited mental capacity buy into the arguments.

What make this last go-round such a major sin before God and Man is that we struck the first blow. Mainly because "Dodger" Bush wanted to vindicate "Ditcher" Bush's SNAFU in the same country.

What really hurts too is that the people we are protecting the world from got their expertise from the U.S. Their fathers were trained here.

Hope you like lots of airhead-neocon hate mail, it is on its way.

They were proven cowards in childhood and now this is their big chance to prove that they are he-men by letting real men fight their battles and then taking credit for their bravery.
