This comment is not about you, it's about what is really going on, in our country... and, the hypocricy of it all! Answer: Duh-h-h-h-h!
Well, now they have opened up the wilderness in Alaska for oil drilling, they want and are drilling off our southern-most coast, and want to drill in the great NorthWest roadless wilderness of our country, and the pipelines in Alaska were not 'coated properly' to prevent the oil spills that recently happened, there. Oil companies don't seem to care about the environment, at all. Just drill, drill, drill, and ignore the consequences! If, we can't get Arab countries to sell more of their oil to us - by god, we'll just drill the H3ll out of America!
Why else go to war with a country that has\had nothing whatsoever to do with us? Or, the 911 attacks; and WHO really did all that ugliness? There are ongoing investigative theories, and thoughts on the subject. Makes ya kind of wonder what country are we living in, really?
Blatant, in our faces activity that no one can seem to prevent or stop. I still "want My country back!"
Further, I want leadership who gives a care about "We the People!..." And, the environment, and the economy, and peace in the world, not warfare, in order to cover-up the realities of their greed, deception, and total disregard for the American Way of Life..
My version of all this: I woke up yesterday, and I thought I had died... and, NOT gone to heaven! I looked outside at the people, and no one seemed to want to visit, and chat, anymore. I tried to talk with a neighbor, but, they were so full of cynicism and ugly attitude, I thought maybe an alien from outer-space took over their body. It was just not the same! No smiling, no fun-loving, playfulness - only looks of dispairing, and a kind of emptiness from within. Did I really wake up, or am I still in a sleep-mode, kind of dream state? Or, is this the new reality of America - rather than the America I love and support.
Well, it wasn't a dream, I am awake, and my neighbors are still less optomistic, hopeful, friendly and outgoing. We each seem to have our own agendas, now... not time for the silliness and playfulness we once had.
War changes everything!

anybody with even somewhat hassle-free experience is common with that if Iraq had tomato fields rather of oil fields the U. S. wouldn't have spent $six hundred billion funds to occupy the rustic. the unlucky element is that such extremely some human beings understand this to be real yet are aphathetic or helpless to end tens of 1000's of innocuous Iraqic human beings from being murdered because they stay contained in the incorrect position.

Absolutly they did. This world war that has been started has caused "unstableness" in the middle east where most of the oil comes from. This unstableness causes traders to trade the price crude oil higher, to protect their profits when there is no actual shortage. This causes thier record profits. Oh and most of the oil companys are located over seas not in America.

You guys are really clowns. You know nothing about oil companies and less about the war on terror. When oil prices go up because of unrest in the world, oil company profits remain the same based on cost/profit margins. The government which receives taxes based on a percentage, gets a whole lot more as costs go up than does an oil company. I know it is easy to blame BIG OIL, but sometimes you actually have to use your brain.

Go back and read early neocon positions............. "world leadership" is another way of saying do it my way.......... and the number one issue is "stability" in the middle east - mostly for economic reasons.
