In all these years there have been only two Muslim prize winners in science. Jews, on the other hand, have had 96 winners! There are 100 times as many Muslims in the world as Jews - where is the fairness?

In the USA is celebrated " El Cinco de Mayo " The day to celebrates Mexico and the mexican people in the USA. But, do you know why is so celebrated even more than Independence day ( September 16th or Revolution day Nov 20)?.
It is because Mexican Conservatives of that era were Nazis.
French, Germans, Austrians, Hungarians, Spainards and even Rusians. Mexico was a wealthy counrry with wealthy economy.
But Mexicans defeated French apoleonic Nazi troops.
With a little help of their american friends.
That's why.
What do u think?

It has been said that those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. That said, why are so many people wanting to hand the reins of government back over to the Iraqis?
Ignoring the question of whether we should or should not have invaded (spilt milk and all). After WW2, did the allies (mostly the US because we still had some capability at that point) hurry to get out of Japan or Germany?
No we did not, they had lost a major war and were not capable of governing themselves, and they were well established nations not the tottering wreck that Iraq had been driven to over the past 20 years.
After the American Civil War the reconstruction process was cut drasticaly short due to political infighting and caused problems for the South which continue to reverberate to this day.
If we Americans are going to conquer another country we need to be resposible enough to rebuild it properly, not a half-assed rush job because of whining liberals.

Virginia - Webb or Allen? (I think Allen will squeak it out)
Pennsylvania - Santorum or Casey? (I think Casey wins but Santorum closes a lot of ground)
Tennessee - Corker or Ford? (I think Ford will pull of a big upset)
Connecticut - Lieberman or Lamont? (I think Lieberman squeaks this one out)
Montana - Tester or Burns? (I think Tester wins in a landslide)
Ohio - DeWine or Brown? (I think all the Ohio GOP scandals take DeWine down even though he had nothing to do with them.)
Rhode Island - Chafee or Whitehouse? (I think Sheldon Whitehouse wins by a comfortable margin)
New Jersey - Menendez or Kean? (I really think this one is a toss up, although a Democratic wave could save Menendez)
Missouri - Talent or McCaskill? (I think Talent goes down to defeat)
I think there are a few potential shockers in addition to this. Things are so bad in Michigan right now that I think Stabenow (Dem) could get defeated. Also, if there is a big wave, Ensign (Rep) from Nevada could get beat!

Or is changing your mind the worst thing a politician could do to this country? For example tax cuts - always good, or only sometimes? War funding - always good or no more for Halliburton?

Since their oath is to the Constitution? The bill of rights applies to all people - not just US citizens, and if given an order that would violate a persons rights - what do they do? If given an order that they suspect is a violation - what do they do? Big dilemnas. Where does the geneva convention come into the question?
