Or is changing your mind the worst thing a politician could do to this country? For example tax cuts - always good, or only sometimes? War funding - always good or no more for Halliburton?

10 yrs ago, Jerry Seinfeld used to joke about "who was the advertising genius who came up with that?".

After 50+ years of T.V, and now this medium (Internet, which is really just interactive T.V.), sadly the American brain is so attention deficit that sound bites and catch phrases are all that are remembered.

Kerry was a "flip-flopper" for growing older and wiser. It was catchy, and cost a pretty penny. Who was the advertising genius who came up with that one? (Karl Rove)

things change needs change people who dont get that are static... static isn't government static is a state. states don't have taxes and don't have wars.. there is only one state.

for government laws and reactions change.. enforcement needs and the results of enforcements within the state create new needs.
