For me, it means that I believe what Reason, the Libertarian magazine, refers to as "free minds and free markets." People should make their own decisions about what to do with their money, how to live their lives, etc.

Well, that's a dificult position to take. On one hand you'd be anti state with respect to state imposition of moral or community standards you'd be agast at things like seeing detainees at Guantanomo Bay or racial profiling ... these would be in keeping with libertarian positions on civil liberty...

Where you'd be departing from the libertarian tradition would be in supporting left-wing position on monetary issues which are anything but libertarian, such as government involvment and control in the economy which is essentially socialist.
