No! When Clinton was in the White House, we were a lot better off. Now with the criminal Bush administration running things, things have been worse. Look at the mess going on in Iraq, our souring economy, Americans losing their jobs to cheap laborers in the third world, etc.! Don't forget our nation's standing in the international community! It took many years for that to be built up, that took Bush's first Presidential term to wipe it all out with his questionable, ill-fated policies and bad decision-making. Now I am ashamed of being an American because of that 2000 election-stealing fool! I am also ashamed of being from the same state he's from!

I am a proud American despite my leader, and I think Bush is a fine president. And for all of you who disagree maybe you should have took the time to go and vote b/c I can guarantee that 85 percent of those who answer did not and think they have the right to complain about it. We as Americans, especially in these times, should not be bashing our President. Try wasting your time on some other issues, like prayer for our troops, contributing to fellow Americans in need, donating monies to WTC funds or hurricane victims. Stop being so selfish, nothing ever got accomplished with smack talk, get off your butts and do something productive. BE A GOOD AMERICAN! Not just a proud one!

I was proud to be an American even when Clinton was in office. His actions were embarrassing and had nothing to do with defending this country, but I remained proud. Today we are at war with a country we defeated years ago and they refused to obey the terms of surrender. We had to either go back in or never set terms of surrender again. If this were Clinton we would have bombed a baby food factory and forgotten about it. We did not forget about it, for this I am proud. More Muslims have died at the hands of other Muslims in the last ten years than at the hands of US soldiers in the last twenty. I have no shame for our actions, we have acted responsibly.
