Whatever happened to the news media telling about the details of when Vice-President, Dick Cheney shot his friend in the face, while under the influence of alcohol, and with an expired hunting license? Why did the News Media hush that story up real quickly?

You know why it's called "Loose Change"?
The way i see it, you really need to first form your own opinion by watching this amazing video. You will think differently after seeing it, believe me. Give it a chance. And don't worry...it's not biased one way or another. it contains news reports from several news stations, even including Fox News. Eye witnesses report what they saw that tragic day, and the scientific facts prove it all. Logical, and irrefutable facts are within the video. it is approximately 1hr and 30 minutes, but well worth it. take the time, and sit down, and enjoy. it is truly fascinating, and it will entertain and amaze you to no end.

Many developed countries work under a separation of church and state. Countries in the middle east seem to still keep church and state together in some way or another. Does anyone think that something as simple as the complete separation of church and state would solve many problems out there (I used the term ‘simple’ quite loosely here)? I know that something like that would most likely end up abolishing Israel in the end, but regulating faith as a private practice rather than a political doctrine seems to be a primary key to allowing a country to develop to the level of the US, UK, and other european countries. If possible, would that be the 'solution' to most of th brutalities going on over there?

This question is partially out of boredom and out of curiousity. If left wing filmmaker Michael Moore and right wing radio host Michael Savage were stranded on a deserted island, who would survive?

Personally, I'd think it would be a draw as both of them seem so out of touch with reality....and this is coming from a moderate, independent-thinking conservative.

After all, he took out that far right wing conservative Saddam Hussein and his Republican Guard so that Iraq could have a good, decent, honest liberal Democratic party like the USA has.

We are in a mental civil war. The Blue and the Grey. Or rather the Blue and the Red. How can either side swear blind allegiance to a political party when neither can no longer represent us as a nation?
Why is independent such a bad word when it comes to politics but not when it comes to an individual's thinking?
What good does 'my party vs. your party' do when nothing is done for EVERYONE?

I'm not after opinions other than Pro or Con. For instance, if you're say,35, and you are more for Bush than not, simply answer "30's - Pro", or, if you're, say, 22, and you are more against Bush than not, simply answer "20's - Con". That's all. Lets keep it simple and see what we all think. Thank you!

Attorney General Alberto Gonzales said Tuesday that Congress should require Internet service providers to preserve customer records, asserting that prosecutors need them to fight child pornography. Testifying to a Senate panel, Gonzales acknowledged the concerns of some company executives who say legislation might be overly intrusive and encroach on customers' privacy rights. But he said the growing threat of child pornography over the Internet was too great.

Here is the next in the Fourth Reich's (read: Bush Administration's) policies that is leading our country into a fascist regime where the citizens have no privacy and no rights. Americans need to take heed. Soon, the American Secret Police will be goose-stepping straight for your doors.
