I know who the president is, and that's about it. I could care less about the other stuff. Don't get me wrong, I really apreciate what the soldiers are doing for us in Iraq, I just don't understand it all.

to put down liberals in every way and then get mad when anything is said about them in return? I mean you want to call us godless, immoral, crazy, big government fanatics but who has made government bigger, ran up the deficit (so taxes will have to be raised) and are responsible for the deaths of at least 50,000 Iraqis and 2500 Americans (plus over 18,000 wounded)? Are these actions done in the name of God? Because if they are I think there is a reason that liberals are "godless." Oh and now that you are plenty pissed off, why do you hate the truth so much?

I was living in LA in a house with nearly 300 th channels but none of them from other country but USA?
Is this a way goverment control citizens minds not leting them know what is the real reality outside?
PS: In my country, Uruguay, we can not only see national channels but also American, Argentinian, Mexican, Spanish, French, German, etc, etc, so we can see other points of view, and how things really happens in other part of our world.

This art of democracy that the West insists on shoving down the throats of the world, in my view serves the political classes. Unless you live in Australia, where a true democracy is in use, the majority actually lose out in all cases. In Australia, it is against the law not to vote. This ensures the outcome is true and representative.

I think he knows he is wrong and just feels like he needs to beat up a Demecrat because he doesn't know what the word Liberal means. Liberal is what the Re(dumb)lican Government has done with the Demacrats Surplus.

okay, Clinton was a great president, except for the monica lie. but the media spent more money exposing him as a fraud for that than they did exposing Bush and the Enron scandal. I don't see how the media is "Liberal-Based". I think they just do what will make them the most money by attacking everyone in power with whatever they can. can i get a serious answer to why conservatives are constantly whining about how "Liberal-based" it is?

Prepared to send the children of other people to die for their causes. Pres Bush snr. a decorated war hero knew the consequencies of war. He was able to mitigate the loss of American lives during Gulf War 1. The present administration to a man and woman did all they could to avoid fighting for America. The supporters of this and all future wars will cower under their blankets if they were drafted to fight for America, so why are they so blood thirsty?

Much is known about the psychology of negotiating and power. The West has many trained professionals to deal with issues before they become crises. My concern is that war is a money-maker and that there is little concern to avoid it. Rather, government leaders wish to provoke wars for money and power. What can citizens do to stop or at least mitigate this tendency?

I don't understand why political parties exsist, i realize that it prevents dictatorship of one party like in mexico( which is pretty much a dictator ship because there is only one dominant party, and the outgoing president gets to choose who runs as the next president for his party), but doesn't it do more harm than it does good, because if all the candidates were independent than there would not be feuding between parties and they government would be much more effective because the politicians would not try and press there veiws and attack the other side making congress take much longer than it should to pass bills and such. Why does the US have to have political parties because if there was no such thing as republican or demcrat than the govenrment would be more effective.
