to put down liberals in every way and then get mad when anything is said about them in return? I mean you want to call us godless, immoral, crazy, big government fanatics but who has made government bigger, ran up the deficit (so taxes will have to be raised) and are responsible for the deaths of at least 50,000 Iraqis and 2500 Americans (plus over 18,000 wounded)? Are these actions done in the name of God? Because if they are I think there is a reason that liberals are "godless." Oh and now that you are plenty pissed off, why do you hate the truth so much?

There is a deficit caused by the Iraq war and previous tax cuts (to the rich) that will have to be paid back, not by tax cuts but tax raises.
And some people have mentioned facts. Im sorry, are those numbers of dead people not facts.
Also, I dont see how you could vote to end abortion AND welfare. Is it the Christian thing to do to force babies that no one can take care of into this world?

By the way at least at some point the "liberals who voted for this" decided that they were wrong and maybe there is a better way. That is a better strategy(or strategery) than "stay the course."

They feel the need because they know they screwed this nation up royally and have no defense except to begin name-calling. The sad part of it is, the majority of the country elected these conversatives to the offices they are in. Hopefully the mistakes of the past can be corrected in November 2006.

Why do we call you all those things? Simple. Because you present material for discussion in such an irrational and unfounded manner and tremendously lacking in supporting data, that the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, in whatever the current edition is, would diagnose you as demented or a liberal, and since we figure you don't know what those two terms mean, we just decided to call you " . . . Godless, immoral, crazy, big government fanatics, etc.". I know, by your presented question, that you're young, and without all the facts to say the least, and full of energy and very impulsive and impatient. Do us all a favor. Hold onto your debating skills, whatever they may be, return to your books, and study, A LOT!! And when you get the facts, then come back for rational discussion. Be sure in your education, which I hope will be further highschool and college, you take some research courses so you learn to differentiate fact from fantasy, or conservative from liberal. Then when you do, hopefully you'll have enough energy left to return to the debate, and I won't at all be surprised that you'll be on our side. I'll be the first to shake your hand because I'll recognize you from all the way across the room. I, too, started out without the facts, as a democrat way back in the stupid '60's, and was led, fighting and cussing all the way, to conservatism, Republicanism, Reaganism, and God (with a capital "G"). Don't worry. You'll get here too. You too will mature, whether you like it or not. We love ya, young man. God Bless you.

1. Bush is not a conservative. Reagan was a conservative. Bush is the most liberal dog of a president I have ever seen.
2. With the type of things liberals support, like gay rights, legalization of drugs, prostitution, extended benefits for every Tom, Dick and Maria with their hand out, their lack of support for closing the borders to illegal immigrants, it's no wonder Coulter calls you "godless". She's right BTW.
3. Conservatives didn't run up the deficit. Liberal Bush and liberal congress who approved his requests ran it up. Oh, and there was that little matter of Iraq and Katrina, as well. But when was the last time either side made government smaller? Now, there's the real problem.
4. No, war is never sanctioned by God, oh wait, I just looked it up in my Bible and I guess it is, sometimes. When a nation is confronted by bottomless evil intent on the utter destruction of said nation, I say 2500 is cheap. Did you want to wear a burka and let your husband order you around like a slave? Oops, you're a dude, aren't you? Sorry, by the way you minced around with your logic, I forgot there for a minute...
5. As for the truth, you can't handle the truth. Love, and do what love calls for. Right now, Love calls for a War, and you are part of the problem. Thanks for a good question, however. --->Sincerely, UCSteve

Your truth is your truth! Don't speak for everyone and generalizing anyone is wrong. Not every type of person thinks the same way.
I don't think all democrats are Godless. But, it does confuse me how you can say your a Christian yet vote yes for abortion and gay marriage. You turn your back on God and your religion when you vote that way.
And get a clue Democrats raise taxes way more than Republicans. You really don't have your facts straight.

I'm sorry to tell you this, but liberals have attacked conservatives just as much as conservatives have attacked liberals... Liberals claim all conservatives are out to destroy the enviroment, degrade women and minorities, hate homosexuals, support big business, and want to force everyone to be Christian. I'm a registered Republican and none of those apply to me. There is far too much hatred and bickering between the parties in this country, it seems to get worse every year. Have we forgotten "United we Stand, Divided we Fall"? I believe that both parties make excellent points and they should agree to disagree and start working together for the better of America

Neocons are notorious for dictating/imposing their value system on everybody else. From what I have notice, they tend to be of the 'blame' mindset.
The typical Neocon is convinced the world is going to hell in a handbasket and that is all the liberals fault. They are not willing to take a look within themselves at what they might be doing to aid in the decline of ... whatever they think is declining..
They can not handle constructive criticism whatsoever. Actually they get quite angry when they are opposed.
I guess the appropriate word would be completely 'close-minded' in their conviction that they are right and the rest of the world is wrong.

I'm not pissed, you have some good points. Try to stick to the facts though. You started to get a little whacked out there near the end. Its my experience that both sides have plenty of shame. I think liberals, for whatever reason, seem to flip out and that makes them easy targets. If you loose on the facts and the rational basis for your argument what do you have left? That's right....nothing but emotion.

Why do you think it is conservatives who feel the need to put down liberals. If you listen to Air America, all they do is put down conservatives. How boring? Listening to Randi Rhodes is like listening to fingernails on a chalkboard. She and her cohorts have no agenda but to attack the other party.
As far as Iraq, 2,500 people is not as bad at 75,000 dead(same time in there). By the way, a liberal was in power during Vietnam.
Your truth is just spin. By no means do I support Republicans 100%, but at least they make good company.

Women in Iraq and Afghanistan now have the opportunity to receive an education. 250000 Iraqi soldiers have been trained to defend their new society. Big government is perpetuated by both factions. Extremes have no place in government. Moderation, not mud slinging will repair the House.

conservatives are whack thats why! I mean go figure they elected a moron for president and happy because he is sending everyones sons and daughters to be killed in the name of oil. what democratic nations have been established? certainly not Iraq or afghanistan. Iraq is in chaos courtesy of mr. bush. the taliban are taking over afghanistan again..what exactly have we accomplished outside of removing a legal president of another country
in response to sxygrl: very good biased media planted by the warmongers. Iraq is still in total chaos and on the brink of a civil war.
