The following was a speech given to a joint session of congress a while back... Cant beleive they tried to push this partisan crap on us:
Together, we must confront the new hazards of chemical and biological weapons and the outlaw states, terrorists, and organized criminals seeking to acquire them. Saddam Hussein has spent the better part of this decade and much of his nation's wealth not on providing for the Iraqi people but on developing nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons and the missiles to deliver them...
I know I speak for everyone in this chamber, Republicans and Democrats, when I say to Saddam Hussein, "You cannot defy the will of the world," and when I say to him, "You have used weapons of mass destruction before. We are determined to deny you the capacity to use them again."

That speech was given by President Bill Clinton on Jan 27, 1998... On December 15th of that year, he bombed Iraq for not cooperating with the US. Apparently Democrats can be wrong, too.

One very dishonest and slanted reactionary wants me to "bring it on".Here goes *****:
Here is but one of the "disasters" I have been talking about: Bush's all-but forgotten Culture of Life.Since 2001,Bush's pro-abstinence only agenda(which it so disastorous its hardly talked about by Cons) has created higher rates for abortion, teen promiscuity, teen pregnancy, and promiscuity in general.
Sounds to me like our Government is just cloaking itself in "morality" to pass this trojan horse to ultimately weaken ALL Americans. How can I not ignore the instinct that this govt.wants us as personall bad off as possible?

If that's "liberal" it beats having your head up your @ss.
Go ahead.Tell me this administration is perfect.

Whatever happened to separation of church and state?
The worst part is they don't even embrace the good aspects of Christianity, such as love thy neighbor and help those who cannot help themselves.

I got my letter from the Department of Veterans Affairs today about the theft of personal information, possibly mine, from a laptop. Should we all, as Americans, be concerned about the governments lax handling of our personal information? Why was a laptop with names and SS# of millions of current and former military employees allowed to be "taken home"? Does this show the "concern for security" that the government likes to talk about?

The US government needs to start taking care of its own disaster victims who are still homeless, jobless without their communities, get them back to where they were before the disasters in their states before sending money and aid to other countries!

These amendments have no relevance in the real world. They can't even gain approval in a Republican controlled legislature.
We have people dying in a senseless war, people dying because they can't afford medicine or have any medical coverage. We have lobbyists literally buying votes in Congress.
When was the last time you even saw someone actually burn an American flag in this country? What harm would it do if people actually did still burn flags?
Dignity in Marraige? Heterosexuals like Britney Spears and wife beaters everywhere are doing a good enough job destroying any dignity in marriage.

I hear people from both sides angrily spouting off about how horrible she is, how they can't stand her, and how she'll destroy the country. I'm not a huge supporter of her but I really don't see where all the hate is coming from.
I don't need answers like "She's a dumb bitc*." I really want to know what she did specifically to anger so many people. Thanks. And let's try to be respectful of both political parties.

I can see him personally parachuting in to New Orleans in the middle of the night during 150 mph winds with 100,000 pounds of dynamite strapped to his back so he could blow up the levees.

I can see him personally training alligators in Florida to eat black voters who don't vote for him.

I can see him personally stomping on the ground in San Francisco so hard it will cause an earthquake and kill all of the homosexuals that live there.

Those things I get. They are easy to figure out. I just can't get it straight in my head how he stole the election. Please enlighten me.

We would not be having the problems in the Middle East if Reagan would have not supported the Contra's in Iran. Alot of our current pain can be traced back to him. Anyone who says he ended the Cold War, should really look at history and notice that without Kennedy the cold war would have been a real war.
