Someone told me this and they also said if you can prove you have a Native American bloodline/lineage you can get out of paying taxes. If this is true couldn't thousands if not millions of people trace their family tree and find some Indian blood. How does that work?

I see that they have completely washed you brains about my country. you are thinking wrong about iran's government. it is a democracy. the president and MPs are elected by the nation. even the supreme leader ( or what you call the great dictator) is selected indirectly by people. in 1979 96% of the people voted yes to islamic republic. 90%of the nation are religous shias and they believe ayatollah as their religous leader by heart . even some of my anti-revolution fiends still have respect towards the supreme leader.
in my school somtimes the left-wings and right-wings talk about the regime (I am in the right) . but most of the anti-revos actually do not want to overthrow the revolution , the just want some changes. after all all of us pray to god and join the religous activities.
dont blinly believe what you see on your TV screens. they only show you bad parts. if you want to know more about our goverment you have to see it with your own eyes. come to iran.
about hte economy, iran is 21st in the latest world bank GDP listing.

Without guns and violence America would still be kissing the royal bottom in London. America would never have become the super power it is. Hitler and the axis would not have been stopped. Not to mention the numbers of violent criminals who would not be caught or killed making the streets safe for everyone.

Of course it should be done democratically, and it may take many years before the N. Ireland public vote for independence/join the ROI?

But wouldn't it all in all be in N. Ireland's best interests in the long term?

government for saying this or that about someone. You DO realize that the government doesn't give a crap about you. Republicans look at you as an obstacle to get rid of so that their corporate buddies can get cheap labor. (ever wonder why wages don't keep up with inflation?) Democrats look at you as nothing more than a checkbook only wanting to get more money out of you. Neither of them care. They are nothing more than a bunch of elitist that uses you to promote their own agenda. They are all friends...you really think that the Bushes and Clintons aren't buddies? Come on...think about it. They do nothing but figure out ways to screw us so that in the end, they can have more money. It's about them. They give us scraps ever once in a while to make themselves look good and to make us shut up. So keep fighting because that's what they want. THEY are polarizing this country...further to the left...further to the right...that way we aren't paying attention to the important things.

Currently the many agencies aren't reaching most families' need by a long shot. Too much $$ wasted in administration costs. One blanket service is needed, with an information package for all carers about how/where they can get help and support and funds for respite care be paid direct to families. We need a real committment by Government (Feds and State together) to provide/build actual facilities for housing, respite and education facilities. Carers need real and ongoing support not just bandaid -type fixes, when our lives are torn apart and it's far too late to come back from, (DHS method currently)
We don't have holidays or even manage to get a haircut very often, it is very insulting to read about pay rises and super payouts to politicians all the time when I have no super for my future and I cannot contribute to it through no fault of my own. I will be one of many carers hopeful of a pension if they exist in 20 yrs. We need support so we can work too, it's not too much to ask .

OK, now that I have your attention, I would ask why America is the economic powerhouse it is, and why it became such a wealthy country? As late as 400 years ago it was pretty much a wilderness, as compared to the established civilizations of Europe and other areas.

Certainly the millions of people trying to come here, legally or otherwise, must consider it a "land of opportunity" as well.

So why is this?

I believe that presently the federal government does not pay for abortions, or at the very least there are some restrictions on using public monies for this purpose. The reason is the moral objection a large percentage of the population has to abortion.

So would any "single-payer" program include it, or exclude it?

Mit Romney accused Barack Obama of waffling by saying he would consult with the enemies of the US and Bomb our allies.
What Obama promised was to open dialogue with countries like Cuba, Iran and North Korea. He also said that if he were provided with actionable intelligence that Al-Queda were operating in Pakistan he would act to eliminate the threat.
I'm not a fan of Obama but is Romney a moron?

I mean is attacking Al-Queda in Pakistan the same as attacking Pakistan? And has ignoring Cuba actually improved anything?
