Atavacron It is a partisan issue the left was screaming by foreign drigs they are cheaper and now we are finding out they were cheap because they were fake. It speaks a lot about you for personally attacking me on an issue you are unaware of and makes you look stupid.

Boycotting the FDA? Wtf are you talking about.

More like actually getting them to do their JOB and NOT rubber stamp every freakin' thing that the pharaceutical corporations send their way without proper testing, then, five years later, "Oops, you remember that miracle drug you got three years ago. Well, now we're pretty sure it destroys heart muscle while treating your arthritis. Sorry"

How is this a partisan issue? The fact that you make it one speaks volumes about you.

"It is a partisan issue the left was screaming by foreign drigs they are cheaper and now we are finding out they were cheap because they were fake."

CANADIAN, drugs, you RETARD are the SAME drugs that are sold HERE, but they are price-capped up north.

Pray tell, fool, where are all the dead Canadians??? Where are the bodies stacked up like cord wood in Montreal or Toronto???

Show me.

I can only answer from experience. I was a child of the 70's, so, I did my share of "experimenting". When I registered to vote in 1985 I registered as a Democrat. However, I changed parties in 1989, after I had matured and learned more about our political process and what it means to be an American. I work with an lady who I call an Ultra-Lib and another who is a Lib, but not so "ultra". The Ultra-Lib is an athiest, who grew up in an agnostic house hold with a Roman Catholic background. She says her family never went to church or had any kind of "formal" religion. The Lib that I work with went to Sundy school as a kid, but has not gone to church since she was in elementary school. She says her family belives in God, and the traditional Trinity, but they do not go to any kind of church or practice any type of religion. Both of these ladies are Dems, and they believe that marijuana should be legalized because, "No one has ever gotten into a car while high and killed someone, marijuana is harmless and those who want to do it should be left alone, the jails are full already, marijuana as a gateway drug is a myth, etc." You get the picture. Yes, I believe they are out of touch with reality, and lots of other things too.

There are ongoing hearings on the issue of illegally trademarked drugs -- and bills that have been proposed and voted on -- check the Library of Congress website (thomas.loc.gov)

Such issues are just much less interesting the the population (and/or the press) so they don't get covered as much as the scandal hearings.
