Being a historian myself, it all depends on how the War on Terror plays out...if we destroy or hurt Radical Islam beyond the point of coming back to hurt us...he will be viewed as a great President and these Democrats will be viewed as useless and partisan...what saddens me the most is all the answers from the uninformed...I bet if you asked any of these people who said Bush will be seen as the worse, what they think about Lincoln, they would say he was the best President ever...but in 1864 if you asked the average American what they thought about him, they would have said he was the worse ever...mainly because he got into a war that killed hundreds of thousands of Americans...Bush, like Lincoln, had one of the worse case scenarios that a President could have...give it 20 years and I think we will know better how he will be viewed...anything earlier than that is just partisan politics and uninformed opinion...

We most likely will not look back at him as a great president. Yes he did help us in some ways (No Child Left Behind Act:little funding but still important). He did good during 911, but some of his other choices are a bit shakey. He did make a few good decisions. Most will say it is a wasted Presidency, but I'm more afraid of what is to come as far as the other Presidential Candidates and if anything could get any worse. If it does Bush will be looked at as a good president.

It's never going to happen. The people who will write the history are the ones who hate Bush the most (the universities and Hollywood)

The chances that this isn't a wasted presidency is none. There are no chances this wasn't a wasted presidency.
And, he doesn't even have to wait for history to judge him the worst president this country has ever had. He's already being judged the worst president this country has ever had.

It is possible that Bush has made some good decisions, but it is utterly impossible that history will be kind to him. Neocons don't write the history books.

Either back or forward do you think the the US has become more secure , more fair or more respectful ? I think that all the American presidents are the the same they carry out what the Zionist lobby wants . They are brutal and unfair .Take in consideration the dirty operations they did in Hiroshima , in Latin America on the hands of the CIA , in Guantanamo, in Abu Gurib, in the Middle East , in Afghanistan , in Copa, etc. America is America regardless the tyrant that rules it.

You don't mean Bush? George W. Bush? The one that started a war of choice and ended up murdering 655000 Iraqis? The one that's letting New Orleans fester? The one robbing you silly and pissing off non-whites the world over? That racist drunkard with no more international policy experience than watching Mission Impossible marathons?
You mean the guy who is destroying the NPT? the toxic texan? the guy who's weekend sport was filling retard convicts with poison? The guy who invaded Afghanistan because it asked for proof in order to extradite 9/11 suspects but who have asylum to the Bin Laden of the Americas (luis Posada Carriles)?
Man, Bush will always be the toilet joke he was all his life. A pathetic half-man by all accounts. Hunter Thompson remembers finding him drunk in a tub during an NFL party. A man who could not fid Iraq on the map before his daddy invaded it. A man so utterly worthless, he is bent on making our lives just as worthless. The guy polluting my air and my water and telling me and my people whether we can be communists, bokonists or whatever we please?
Hah... by all accounts a half man. You propaganda troops are going to have to work hard to rewrite the textbooks. But hey, you AMericans praise all sorts of pathetic halfmen anyway... TR was a petty fascist and Churchill was a mass murderer. Truman was by no account a keen man. LBJ was a pissant hypocrite who sold out the war on poverty to murder the Vietnamese.
So i guess, anything is possible.

Possibly. Many will see him as a liberator for freeing the Kurds from massive holocausts of mustard gas and killing thousands of his own people. Granted, it started a civil war.....But still, taking Saddam out was very much needed and installing democracies in Afghanistan and Iraq aren't proving as much for the moment, but stuff like this takes time. Bush will get credit sometime in the future. But it may be awhile.......
And I love how many people are giving people down thumbs just for the sake of the fact that some people are being semi pro-Bush. Mature.

Chance of him being a good President are slim to none. If he prevented anything ominous you can bet he and Rove would be all over it like stink on a turd !!

yes, as president, GW has been a great disaster. He may have accidentally done some things of value but he clearly has focused on taking care of his wealthy friends and saving face after shortsighted errors in judgement, rather than helping America in general. if these were not his objectives than his errors in judgement have been caused by shear ineptitude... not sure which is worse...
anyway he has been great but not in a positive sense
