I see that they have completely washed you brains about my country. you are thinking wrong about iran's government. it is a democracy. the president and MPs are elected by the nation. even the supreme leader ( or what you call the great dictator) is selected indirectly by people. in 1979 96% of the people voted yes to islamic republic. 90%of the nation are religous shias and they believe ayatollah as their religous leader by heart . even some of my anti-revolution fiends still have respect towards the supreme leader.
in my school somtimes the left-wings and right-wings talk about the regime (I am in the right) . but most of the anti-revos actually do not want to overthrow the revolution , the just want some changes. after all all of us pray to god and join the religous activities.
dont blinly believe what you see on your TV screens. they only show you bad parts. if you want to know more about our goverment you have to see it with your own eyes. come to iran.
about hte economy, iran is 21st in the latest world bank GDP listing.

Do you have any proof ahmadinejad cheated? of course you dont. we are all aware how people celebrated when ahmadinejad was elected. I am completely sure that there was no cheating in the election.
we had $16 billion oil exports last year, our oil is priced by OPEC not ourselves. you are completly blind and you nly listen to radio farda without even thinking about what they say.do you think world bank is lying to us too . First to answer your question, I don't think that Iran (Persia) is a fascist dictatorship. I think the president of Persia is very intelligent and is a good family man. I think the people of Persia are very kind and loving. There is opression in all governments in one form or another across the world. I also don't blindly just believe what I am told. The president of Persia has supposedly threatened to wipe Israel off the map. In order to clarify the truth, I would ask him face to face exactly what he said and his feelings toward this issue. I believe President Amedinajad is a clear and level-headed man and that he does not have that type of hatred in his heart. I think it is also unfair how muslims across the world are being treated so harshly. I would visit Persia except that my American government would arrest me for treason or espionage.

As an Iranian I answer you questions,
The Gov. in Iran is a dictatorship,
Ahmadinejad is not the true representative of Iranians and many people don’t approve of him, we all know he cheated in the election.
About the economy, Iran is selling oil and gas (at a cheaper price) to survive and there is no productive economy there!
The whole economy is broken and so many educated people are unemployed because politicians are incompetent and corrupt.
BTW do you live in Iran or in a dream land?!!!!
Long Live Persia!

the united kingdom isn't a fascist state, neither is it something like a dictatorship. I do agree although that few human beings in WWII have been conscious they have been struggling with fascism specially. political ideals of international locations have been lots greater polarised than we are used to now and maximum could have felt they have been struggling with an aggressive united states of america. the united kingdom has replaced and technologies inclusive of CCTV and laptop monitoring is intrusive. I do think of although that if those struggling with WWII could have seen a image of the united kingdom at present whilst they have been struggling with they could have been relieved. Their genuine concern could have been loosing to Germany.

I am an American and this may come a a suprise to you, but I voted for Bush, but do not believe the propoganda machine of the media and govt.
The US government is on a misguided mission to oppress regimes that may be potentially threatening to its "interests."
However... The US is not the only country working toward this. and If you think Western countries are blindly following America down this path, think again. Britain Australia and the US are walking the path side by side, hand in hand.

Because it has an unelected element that has showed poor leadership, hides behind weak aged priests (ayatollahs) Khomeini and Khamenei and clamps down on the peple with violence or repressive laws when things go wrong.

Many people use the word "fascist" to mean "anything we don't like". Most ignore the dictionary definition.

And many people deny that a country is a democracy if the person elected is someone they don't like.

It's irrational, but it's common.

maybe because your leader wants to wipe out all Jews, genocide on the scale of Hitler, so that is my main comparison.

it is good you have your freedom, freedom to chose your religion without fear of persecution.

it is good that your media is free to criticize your leader without fear.

it is good that you don't believe in separation of 'church' and state.

if is good that you are happy and all of your citizens share in that happiness.

it is good that you take pride in the take over of the us embassy and the torture of the people that were held 444 days.

i would not come to Iran now as so many are being arrested as spies but it is good that you do not have issues with that.

this is just one 'brainwashed' westerner's opinion and it is good that you will give no consideration to it.

It's not. You have a theocracy. There is no separation between the church and the state. The rule of Islam is the rule of the land.

You say don't blindly believe what we see on television, OK, so am I still hallucinating about the "FACT" that your democratically elected regime are supplying the materials and man power to MURDER our sons and daughters in Iraq, do we just turn a blind eye, I think not, an eye for an eye is the most fitting PUNISHMENT. You have two choices either STOP MURDERING OUR CHILDREN OR START RUNNING FOR YOUR FALLOUT BUNKERS.

"GOD BLESS OUR TROOP'S"

It's not Iran it's their proven terrorist president. Even the Iranians are trying to get him out of office before his term is up. They don't like his either. They know that at the rate he's going, he's going to get a lot of people, innocent people killed for no reason but for his racist terrorist heart.
