A grown moose belches over 100 Kg of methane a year. This has the equivalent effect of 2100 Kg of CO2 (More than a flight halfway around the world).
It’s true - had to laugh when I heard this one. Even our best conspiracy theorists couldn’t come up with this one.

I mean... Where did it go? It was all the news 30 years ago...
How can something that so many scientists swore was legit just up and vanish? Did it fall out of vogue to believe in it?

Or maybe... Just maybe.... Did the scientific and political supporters of that "fact" just ride that money horse till it croaked?

Could it be that they simply hitched a ride on a different money horse called Global Warming?

Mr Gore... You're too fat to be a jockey.

Thugs with no respect for anything or anyone are now uncontrolable, knife and gun crime are common place, the shooting of an 11 year old in Liverpool by a 14 year old has got to be the last straw surely and the police and government do nothing. It is time for ordinary hard working people to stand up and be counted do you not think.

Some say it was fine because those particular fish had come from a legal fish farm rather than having been caught in the wild illegally. Others think that whether the fish comes from a well-managed farm or is found in the wild, it is still endangered, and a poor choice for an environmental activist to have for a wedding dinner for hundreds of people.

What do you think?

We have both been through the minority struggles in the past same as other minorities and poor income whites. I think its time we put our past behind us and fight a new more important fight. That fight is against our leaders who send our poor and middle class children to get killed in a war we dont belong in. We also need change in our communities to promote ethnic acceptance and value. Who is with me?

Democracy is the best experience of modern human race. But still have some deficiency. In free USA election G. bush and in free Palestine election Hamas and in perfectly free France election sarkosy and etc, can be easily elected by their own people. Actually in recent years, conservatives have been more successful. One reason can be old people that are mostly influenced by Medias that are directed by powerful conservatives. Maybe if the election was only on youth, they wouldn’t be elected. But we know it is generally is not a wisely solution not to let old people participate in elections! So how can we reach real and optimum result of democracy?

It seems like Iraq is worse than ever. At least 500 people were recently killed in a truck bombing and the country is still wracked by violence. Obviously what we're doing isn't working, but what's next?

Have I missed some stuff? Last I saw was her cut-throat commentary in the LA Times, spewing her love to hate. I can't even remember the object of her revulsion (that would be a good song title). Is anybody tracking her....by that, I do NOT mean "stalking".

Serious question.

Think about it: they actually take people like Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh seriously.

They still cannot accept that invading Iraq was a huge mistake.

They claim to want to protect freedom yet are opposed to gay marriage and abortion.

They are "pro-life" and simultaneously pro-war.

They call anyone who disagrees with them "anti-american", "anti-semitic", or "troop haters" in order to get their way.

They hate "fags", and then subject us to a rant about how Muslims are backward because they do not allow women the same rights as men.

They are supposedly the opposite of liberals: and yet, if it wern't for the actions of liberals, women wouldn't be allowed to vote and slavery would still be around.

In the debates he was not permitted to answer a question until about a half an hour into the proceedings.
Why was he cropped from a group photo of the debates?
Why was the poll showing Kucinich in the lead removed, replaced with a different poll which was also dropped when Kucinich was winning, and then buried when he pulled ahead again?
so much for the "liberal media" theory.
