Between his incompetence and his criminal behavior along with the useless Democrats being unwilling to impeach him-shouldn't he resign? How can anyone still support him?

This was an answer someone gave to another question. I've never heard the system described this way before...

" The 2 major political parties are like parents.

The democrats are like one's mother. Always the one who kissed boo-boos, tells you it will be alright, is nice to the neighbors, keeps things tidy around the house, says things like "wait until your father gets home", "well, lets see how can we fix this", and "nobody should do my kid wrong".

The republicans are like one's dad. Football, motorcycles, racing...hates the neighbors, but is nice because the wife will gripe, tells you to suck it up when you get a boo-boo, handles the bully down the street, goes to work at a job he hates, fixes things around the house, and is generally grumpy when it comes to your mom. Says things like "I don't care; ask your mother". "knock off all that noise", "stop whining" and "what did you do to deserve it" '

I have to say, when it comes to doling out the cash, the United States is great for that. They give away billions of aid every year to other countries who are less fortunate than themselves.

However you see in the news daily of children right inside our borders who dont eat, old people with no health care and families who have substandard housing. Lack of affordable jobs, daycare, healthcare, housing, education options are problems plaguing America yet there is more emphasis to rebuild other countries.

Wouldnt it be a better idea to focus on itself instead of focusing on the well being of the rest of the world for a while or would that do more harm than good?

this just proves that if the head of the u.n can't feel safe in iraq even when it was supposed to happen in the safe green zone, how do safe do you think the rest of iraq feels.People can't send thier children to school, go shopping, visit family without getting attacked by either the colonial nazi's or get inbetween crossfire.Another war crime punishable by hanging.HANG ALL THE NAZI INVADERS IS WHAT I WOULD SAY!!

Hi.I'm Iranian and I'm 18.two Americans e-mailed me.one of them was an American soldier who had sent me his frightening photos from Iraq with a big machine gun in his hand and was threatening me that he was going to come to Iran to kill us and the second American was a girl saying he was going to do something terrible just because I'd asked a question about music on YA and they'd undersood that I was Iranian?I don't even wanna think about what that girl said. Now you judge.Isn't threatening the others and creating terror and fright a kind of terrorism? I loved Americans, but considering these two e-mails I'm starting to think that they're not the lovely people I always imagined. If I'm not correct what else do you expect me to think of Americans?

Have you watched "The Great Global Warming Swindle"? I got a copy and while I was totally sceptical before I am absolutely convinced that this whole scare thing is pure nonsense.

If you have the slightest open mind about it, watch the program and then decide. It is full of real scientists, those that were on the original IPCC panel, and they are telling their truth.

I hope someday the polarization in this country between the two parties, as is displayed in quite some detail here in the archives of Y!A, can be put aside for a second on issues such as abortion and stem cell research so that we can focus on the task at hand. This war.

Some want withdrawl, some want us to stay, some just want something to be accomplished. Thats where im at, I just want this country to regain its good name as the beacon of freedom and democracy in the world, I want us to win this war but that doesnt necessarily mean eradicating the enemy necessarily. I want for this war to mean something, and go down in History as the conflict that changed things.
It doesnt matter if you liberal or conservative, what we need in this country are Real Americans: A person who loves there country, is a good honorable men, and makes decisions based on the better good, not on money or politics.
How can we ever accomplish such a complicated task?

Not by simply bashing Bush
