As an American I'm always amazed by how the Brits are so over represented in world affairs. How is it that a little Island nation, that cannot defend itself, is allowed to seat at the same table with the great nations of the world?

I have met numerous Canadians on my travels, and I cannot express how impressed I am with each and every one of them. Being from Ireland, I find they are not as self obsessed as the Americans, who talk about me, me, me, me all the time. The average Canadian has an all round knowledge of life and other nationalities. The average American I have met could not tell you where Dublin is.

Do they not have a bit of a nerve? Should fat people and smokers pay less tax if the NHS won't help them?

A private organization would be prosecuted if it refused to provide a service you were paying for.

Executive Privilege defined as;
The theoretical right of a President and other top officials of the executive branch to withhold information from Congress and the courts.

Everyone defending this administration and the attorney General says the president himself was never informed or is not involved in this.....so how can conversations or discussions or communications between 2 parties with the president not involved be argued as Executive priviledge when President or Vice President is not involved?

The attorney general is part of the judicial branch of government and bush advisors arent even in a position to receive executive privilege unless they involved the president.
So doesnt that exec priv arguement get tossed out the window?

Would another, larger Waco be appropriate? If no Fed rapid-response were taken, would other towns create an avalanche, thus changing American history forever?

Would the original town be forever respected as heroic?

Would you despise them, until the majority made it popular to join in?

I know SSI can be used for food, and clothes. What about the fact he's 7 and needs a new bed, has been using his old toddler bed. Bedsheets and comforter for it too, if so? Can SSI go for that? Is that considered a basic need? What about for gas money sometimes, as I have places he needs to go.

I'm very careful to document what I use benefits for (he just got approved), don't want to misuse but there are some grey areas I would like clarified - it takes so long to hear back from case worker, thought this would be faster. Thanks.

most of the people in the world allready knows this, that a lot of bombs planted in iraq that kill civillians are planted by the colonial nazi invaders dressed in iraq clothes.they do this to stir up and esculate tension and kilings in iraq so it gives them an excuse to occupy iraq even longer.The truth of all this will come out once the nazi invaders have left iraq but by then people would hve forgotten iraq so no one would care.This has happened in most wars the nazi invaders have fought in.The present puppet dictator government forced into power in iraq by the nazis only care about them selves and nazi intrests not the iraqi population.War crimes like thse should not pay and i hope the nazi invaders are made to pay for thier actions.
