Would another, larger Waco be appropriate? If no Fed rapid-response were taken, would other towns create an avalanche, thus changing American history forever?

Would the original town be forever respected as heroic?

Would you despise them, until the majority made it popular to join in?

The federal government would win in the end an own a small town. Simply cannot win against the federal government. .

Depending upon the circumstances this could become the trigger that starts a revolution since most other towns would feel that the same thing could happen to them.

The State government would first try to solve the problem and if they were unsuccessful a domino-effect could take place.

It's an interesting proposal and something that our legislators should take to heart and study.

Government by the people is a slippery thing and you can push the people just so far.

Assuming it was a federal tax. I believe the top political leaders of the town would be removed from office and thrown in jail by the state, and the IRS would start threatening to send people to jail.

The government (IRS) would simply seize their assets.

Very few towns or individuals can fight for long when they are kicked off their property, and have their bank accounts frozen.

And as much as I think federal taxes are way out of control, a rebellion is not going to be an effective solution.

An Officer will be posted to your town, to know what exactly is your problems, he will study and report it to his/her boos, that boos forward it to his higher Officer, this person will put a note and pass the file to another higher Officer. From one table to another file will move, it will keep on moving. But your problems remains, where they were earlier.
