Since many of you thing we have this great power to reverse the temperature variance on a entire planet. Why can't we use this great power we have to stop or prevent floodings earthquake, hurricanes, tsuanmis, tornados these are basically local or reginal phonomenons so it wouldn't that be easier to do that than to tackle something that affects the entire globe?

If 9/11 really was a conspiracy...

The Bush administration (or whoever co-ordinated the attacks) obviously has NO qualms about killing THOUSANDS of people to further their cause. I am not SURE, but I think the maia argument is that the Bush Administration planned the attack to put suspicion on Al Queda?

Anyway, please do not correct me, because that is not the point I am trying to make. The point is:

Why are the 9/11 conspiracy theorists still alive? If 9/11 was a planned job, killing THOUSANDS of US civilians, why not kill these guys? The 9/11 truth guy, all of these theorists. Wouldn't it have been easier to silence them when they first started revealing the "truth"??

Now, some people are going to obvioulsy say "Well, that would cast MORE suspicion on the planners". What, killing THOUSANDS of Americans didn't????

Well???

Most people are only aware that the twins fell on 9/11, but, in fact, building # 7 of the WTC fell as well - even though it was not struck by a plane.

BLG 7 was a 47 story steel structure, and though it was struck by some debris from one of the twins, it did not sustain enogh damege to bring it down - accourding to the experts.

Also, BLG 7 did not just collapse, it was demollitioned. How were they able to get the demolitions placed in there in roughly four hours, when everyone knows a building demo takes weeks to plan?

Go to www.youtube.com and type in "building 7" and you'll get all kinds of videos that reveal what I am saying from all the news sources...

Is this the smoking gun?

Do not answer if you have not reveiwed the evidence.

There are times when I get the impression that many people actally WANT another war, if only to drop more bombs on people you do not like. You may think you are sounding like the big tough guy who is afraid of nothing, but in reality you come across as being rather afraid. Despite the bible, War is never divine.

Or are they just trying to get people upset with ridiculous questions/ statements?

Are there people out there that don't realize that the federal government can not intervene into situations like that until the state requests them to do so. For instance, sending national guard troops in to help is not allowed, until the governor approves them (as they had been offered)?

Is there really anyone who does not put the blame on the deaths of the victims on Mayor Negan, who ignored prewritten evacuation protocall?

Since Canada wants to go green our Federal Govt. wants to put an additional penalty on the purchase of gas guzzlers for the amount of $4000. If we buy Hybrids we get up to $2000 back. Although the cost of buying a Hybrid is quite expensive. I agree with everyone watching what they do in order to help global warming. Im wondering though, why dont they start with the mills, the big companys that have a lot of money and should be doing something to lessen the pollution they put into the air. What r ur opinions on this???

A hot topic for anyone who takes a political science class, the thought always lingers, especially in todays environment. Would the US be better off initiating a mandatory military service draft? Let's compare with the State of Israel. Men and women are drafted at age 18. Generally, 3 years is required of you and afterwards, you remain in reserve into your 50's. Why is it we don't hear of complaints of serving their county? Is it because they are surrounded by unfriendly people, who are sworn to drive them into the sea? Are there no complaints because Israel consists mainly of Jews, people with a common religion who know what is expected of them, to defend the Promised Land and their people? Does it work because Israel is a small country with close people, compared to America's large mass of culturally different people? Never mind the current conflict the has divided and confused Americans, but think of the general idea of it. What do you think?

They just voted to pass a bill that they know will be vetoed because of it's pork spending. It is filled with funds that have nothing to do with the military. It promises money to shrimp farms, etc..

Is this proof that they are hypocritical, lying dirtbags with nothing more than a political agenda?

I try to be a proud American, but holy crap....Considering our very short history and extreme nature, the speed at which we have grown dependent on resources that we strive to exhaust, our selfish focus on ignorant practices, just how long can this great nation exist? When will it all come crumbling down and what will be the ultimate fate of the US?

Dem front runners -

Hillary Clinton - Obviously never in the service
John Edwards - College deferment during Viet Nam era
Bill Richardson - College deferment during Viet Nam era
Barrack Obama - Too young for Viet Nam, no service

Repub front runners -

John McCain - POW in Viet Nam, distinguished service record
Rudy Giuliani - Several deferments during Viet Nam era
Mitt Romney - College deferments during Viet Name era

Now, after two elections in which the stellar service records of the Democratic nominees were contrasted with the abominable record of George Bush, how much do you want to bet that if McCain gets the Republican nomination, military service will suddenly be relegated to the Clinton era status and be declared a non-factor by the Dems and the media?

Gun control only keeps weapons out of the hands of law abiding citizens. CRIMINALS will break the law to obtain a weapon. When you look at England, and Australia you can plainly see the increase in violent assaults, after gun control was enforced. Why dont we simply enforce the laws that we have already?
