Taking away the right to smoke in bars, clubs, restuarants, and even in your own car violates our rights .... Why do people think it would be cool to put a smoking ban on the ballot and win.? What do you think about getting this law put back on the ballot and getting our smoking rights back..?

Businesses should be able to decide the issue for themselves. Nonsmokers can patronize bars and restaurants that do not allow smoking and the same for smokers.

This country is too full of cry babies.

Gun ownership, alcohol use, driving a car, land use, etc. all of these things have restrictions placed on their use, so why not smoking restrictions?

It's all a matter of where you draw the line. Should school teachers be allowed to smoke in class? Why not?

Should nurses be allowed to smoke while at work? Why not?

You aint gon die from MY cigerette smoke!! ur gonna die of stupidity and when its ur time to go, u'll go and my cig wont have **** to do with it... The Right To Smoke as We Please should be a national ammendment dammit!!!

And for all you guys that said its a toxin... so is the clorox u use to clean ur house.. its 250x's more potent that half a dang cig! U have ur right to leave if you dont like the smell of my smoke... buh bye... stop whinin and just walk away...cause if I didn't have my cigs, u wouldn't get the chance to walk away!!

Make smoking available anywhere there is proper ventilation.

more people die from smoking related causes than all illegal drugs combined.

smoking is one of the worst drags on our economy when you take the healthcare costs into account.

and our govt subsidizes it.

you don't have the right to smoke around others anymore than i have the right to do target practice at someone's house.

and second hand smoke does kill - it's pure doublespeak to suggest that one kind of smoke that goes into your lungs is deadly and one isn't.

Oh second hand smoke can't kill you, and global warming is a lie too. What's next, we were all conceived by the holy spirit???

Go read some SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH, not bonehead propaganda!

You can go give yourself lung cancer, all we ask is that you do not force innocent bystanders to get cancer as well.

No it doesn't, because there is not stuatory or constitutional right to spread toxic fumes in a public place. So, you can't have a right taken away if there was no right in the first place.

If you want to smoke in private, I support your right to put anything you want into your body.

But the community has the legal authority to protect the public from harmful chemicals. And smoking in public is about as healthy to people nearby as spraying botulism.

I'd rather be exposed to second hand smoke than live next to a refinery or have a power line in my backyard

What about my right to not be killed by your second-hand smoke? Smoking is not a right, it is a priviledge.
