I asked a question today: "Should Bush resign?" and it was met with no facts, but rather personal threats and blatant lies (the old "liberal media" lie for one). And, of course, there was the requisite "Slick Willie" reference. Why has America turned into a nation of unquestioning, unpatriotic sheep?

executive privilege defined as:
The theoretical right of a President and other top officials of the executive branch to withhold information from Congress and the courts.

Everyone defending this administration and the attorney General says the president himself was never informed or is not involved in this.....so how can conversations or discussions or communications between 2 parties with the president not involved be argued as Executive priviledge when President or Vice President is not involved?

Have we caught bush and his croonies finally????

The Earth has been much warmer and much cooler even within the last 1000 years.

Tony Snow said today : Congress Has No "Oversight Responsibility over the White House"

And I have heard other Republicans claim incorrectly that Conrgess cannot subpoena WH officials.

Why won't Republcians read the Constitution for once?

Why is it OK to order subpeona on a political movement? Why easy because when you are lossing the polls about Iraq which we are now gaining control over ( when the press even mention it) and to what ever happened to having evidence and a crime to even indite anyone. Oh yes Democrats don't like to follow the laws of the people specialy when it hinders their objective.

It’s been years and I don’t even care about whom but why? Was it because he was so immoral? Screwing around on his wife. Was it because he was screwing up social security? He really screwed that up. Wasting our tax dollars? Was it because was sucking up to the muslim nations? Was it because the election was a farce? Why keep it covered we all know the government had it done I just want to know why and how can they keep it covered now? It cant be national security only personal.

Did Valerie Plame Lie?

"If the Democratic controlled Congress is so hot to process a crime that has not been committed by trying to solicit perjury, why don't they go ahead and prosecute the one that has been committed by Valerie Plame, who has now been caught lying to the US Senate as revealed by her recent house testimony?" This is an interesting question. The first answer I'd offer is that it's Democrats that run the committees. Christopher Bond, senator from Missouri, is a member of the Senate intelligence committee. He said (paraphrased), "You know, we never heard anything about this junior underling that, phone call from Cheney's office, and somebody else walking by suggesting Valerie Plame's husband." There's a letter. Christopher Hitchens mentioned it. There's a letter you can get that shows that Valerie Plame suggested her husband to go on that trip to Niger. It's up to Democrats to do this. They run the House and the Senate, and I don't think there's going to be any interest on the part of Democrats to process Valerie Plame or put her through any kind of a perjury claim. You never know. The justice department is not going to do anything. It's partisan politics. It's the way it is. You have somebody who has told two different stories before two different committees (Gasp!) and nothing's done, and then you got eight people haven't done anything wrong. Rove has not lied, and he's going to be subpoenaed for the purposes of trying to trick 'em into perjury. There's no question.

I for one am tired of the U.N. pushing America around. There is a worldwide movement supported by the UN to ban civilian ownership of firearms, censor the internet, and generally restrict the freedoms of people around the world, including America.

Americans, are you willing to allow the UN to drag you down to the lowest common denominator, stripping you of your rights and freedoms? Remember, most of the UN members are socialist, communist, or dictorship countries.

What do you think? Should America remain in the UN or should it leave, and withdraw its funding?
