Have you watched "The Great Global Warming Swindle"? I got a copy and while I was totally sceptical before I am absolutely convinced that this whole scare thing is pure nonsense.

If you have the slightest open mind about it, watch the program and then decide. It is full of real scientists, those that were on the original IPCC panel, and they are telling their truth.

I believe it's 90% trash motivated...meaning that's the way they talk.

Did you give a listen to Gore speaking before the senate sub-committee? They were holding back many laughable comments and did poke fun of him 'being a star'...and you should have seen the look on Gore's face. I guess they all realize that there just isn't enough scientific proof to back up the movie..or slide show.

The truth is, is that the oceans are warming because of the hundreds of earthquakes that take place daily around the globe. The reason you don't hear of them, is that 'they are on the ocean floor.'...and do no damage to the population. Except for that 9.0 that time that affected the rotation of the earth and threw time off by milliseconds. That's a lot. That was in 2004. There have also been many quakes in the Antarctic.

When there is a quake on the ocean floor, it means that as above, so below...the earth opens and this exposes heated magma to rise and heat the ocean. It also means that rifts are created, causing weaknesses in the crust. With the building of the pressure, there are many smaller volcanic vents which are created, and from these vents come gases that are killing the coral reefs. However, no one discusses this because 'there's no money in exposing it.' In other words...new industry is being created for alternative fuels, new automotives and the list continues. Get the point?? Gore has investments...and lots of them, in Green Power. Don't let him kid you...those investments need a reason to go up...and the global warming issue is just the ticket to do that.

But I was waiting for the version with the fake scientists. :(

Seriously though, go outdoors in Los Angeles during the summer, and look up. Better yet, go to the hills and take a gander at the city. If going more 'green' because of global warming legislation helps to combat the layer of soot and smog that hovers over the city, I'm all for it. In fact, go to many cities. Or, why are there 'spare the air days' or days where people with respiratory problems are told not to go outside?

Man contributes 1/100000000000000000 of 1% to global warming. So as long as AL Gore cuts his lights off at night we should be in fine shape.
