Whether or not Global Warming turns out to be fact or fiction, I believe that it is in our best interests to seek out cheaper, more reliable and renewable resources. If we have the option to use something that might be healthier for us (I'm referring to toxic emissions here), why shouldn't we take advantage of it?

So if God was proven to be a hoax, we should donate to the church anyway, because people need a place to wear suits....
Sell it somewhere else. I'm hoarding light bulbs to sell at a 400% markup after they're banned.
Edit: You're right, many of your fellow supporters saw "hoax" and jumped on you. I got it. Your question asks "what's the difference? Shouldn't we try to get off of foreign oil anyway?" And I'm saying don't p1ss on my leg and tell me it's raining. Hoax or not, they're using this excuse to try and legally force me to buy an inferior light bulb at 3 times the cost....among a dozen other socialist ambitions.

Does proving that your intellect is a hoax verify global warming? Let's race to prove our points, I believe you've proven mine for me. You should be more dependent on reliable sources of information, rather than right wing propoganda. Perhaps, this way you will learn that our universe is threatened by far worse harm than economic wars for oil; global warming is a huge threat, you will not benefit from ignoring it to endorse your political party. The effects of global warming do not discriminate between liberals and conservatives, it will affect us all.

Oil is not the answer to our energy needs but the answer to our government's bank accounts. Global warming is very real, and will be devastating...It's not too late...but we must be willing to change a few things in our lifestyles..are you willing?
