Conservatives regularly hysterically bash the Wash. Post as "liberal propaganda".

However, the Post broke the story that revealed the deplorable treatment of our wounded troops at Walter Reed while Fox News babbled on and on and on about Anna Nicole and Nancy Pelosi's plane.

Where was Drudge the intrepid reporter? Where was Hannity?

Would we (the public at large) ever have found out what was going on if the press kowtowed to the conservative dictum that the president, government and military establishment must never ever be questioned?

Is this what American society has come to? Why did cops in NYC search my bag on the subway for no reason.?
I'm just a young girl minding my own business. The new rules of random stop and search in subways and buses...is this necessary?

The subway has thousands of entrances that terrorists can get thru with no detection. Does Bush think manning only the busy entrances is going to stop a terrorist?
Soon the govt will have the right to stop me anytime anywhere to seach my bag for NO APPARENT REASON. I was just WALKING for godsake!

I'm not a vegatarian. I'm independant and I don't beleive in political parties period, because they don't work. But when I express that it might be a good thing to get rid our dependance on oil and start useing alternative energy sources they get ticked off why is that?

as everyone knows the pledge has been fought in schools, the bible in court etc..

problem with marijuana: Possibly addictive (psychologically not physically, aka the addiction is all in your head)

problem with painkillers (such as oxys and hydros): Absolutely addictive, extensive rehab needed to safely take someone off of them, aka PHYSICALLY addictive


marijuana should be moved from the schedule one drug list to the level three, yet there is much resistance against changing it to even the level two list! you know who believes that it should stay, the DEA! who believes that the widespread use of marijuana disproves the animal testings that show that it is NOT addictive.

Dont say WMD's because its documented fact that Hussein had them moved into Syria after the U.N. found out about them, and before The U.S. investigated.
