Clinton was never convicted of a crime, and Nixon was pardoned by Gerald Ford first thing. Why would you need a pardon if you weren't convicted right?

Neither was convicted. Nixon was almost impeached for Watergate but he resigned. Clinton never got pinned for his financial and sexual indiscretions.
