When reading some of the far out questions posted here and the wacky opinions I can't help but wonder. I am not just talking about the obsession with one's self, but the other fundemental principles of liberalism.

more than conservatives, conservatives preach about how life should be kept and how they are so pro-life while tehy are killing a whole bunch of civilians and our soldiers in iraq daily.
so i would say that in both conservatism and liberalism there will be hypocrites, watch out for them. :)

I am a liberal and I have black and gay friends, yet am a white, staright man. I think every person is equal, even if they disagree with me or are stupid or intolerant. I believe in God, but I don't want my daughter to be forced to pray at school. I am against the death penalty and cannot find even a single good argument for it. I personally do not like abortion, but believe women are free to make decisions about their own bodies. I believe all votes are equal and should be counted the same. I am against the electoral college for this reason. I don't use drugs, but do not think people who do should be, or are, criminals.
To answer your question, liberals do not have to preach what we practice. We practice what we preach. That is tolerance and more trust in elected officials than in military-corporal masters.

how exactly are they obsessed with themselves? could you please explain some of what your saying? I thought Republicans used facts and didn't just cry and complain with no reason?
looks like your not doing what you say you guys do...
but I think I live by what I "preach"... but I'm not what you think a liberal is... and that's probably the biggest point to be made here... you think all liberals are extremists and all have crazy ideas... which that's blatantly false... most don't...
it's like me saying all Republcians are Religous fanatics that handle snakes at church and talk in tounges... it would just be silly ignorance of the subject matter...
I think most live according to what they believe... the extremists probably don't for either party...

I don't think I can give a ballpark percentage, but I see it being a very miniscule number. A lot of them don't really know what they're talking about for the most part. They relay things they read on a website/blog authored by some obese, fast-food eating, 40-something guy who lives in his moms basement and only leaves once a month so he can pick up a new World of Warcraft help guide. Its pretty sad.

About the same as Conservatives. I see no different. Radicals are radicals and moderates are moderates we will be as much to our side as the other is to their side.
