to find out what the vice president did to pressure anyone who spoke out or questioned this administrations use or false use of intel that led us into the War in IrAq?

Personally I dont see how people can continue to argue for the war on Iraq when all facts of blatant misuse of intel was used, shaped and bent to propel us into war with Iraq, and not go after Afganistan, like we should have.

Your thoughts republicans, if you dare

There is no question the US has single handedly been the most destructive force the world has ever know! Over our entire shameful history we have done nothing but bring misery to the world. As liberals we should stop using code words and start saying how we really feel. If we do not start saying what we all believe then we can never change this cournty for the better!!!! Liberals Unite!!!

Hate to whisper an 'inconvenient truth'... but psssst: congress is democratic now. He can phone Nancy P.? maybe use his success with this movie to address an agenda, legislation etc.? but, then again he already ignored this issue in the White House for 8 years, right? brought mega-SUVs to soccer moms and eliminated the pesky need for the Fed. MPG standards (something begun under Reagan... gasp!!). PS - Kyoto was in '97 and he left in 2000. Do the math, think for yourselves.

I am writing a political position paper on Underdevelopment and poverty. I need resources to learn more about what countries are doing to fight poverty in different countries, if anything. Policies, ideologies, etc.

Thanks, I'm having a lot of trouble finding resources on this subject, so any help would be great.

Of course, the leaking of Valerie Plame was in retaliation for her husband's telling the media there was no proof that Sadam was attempting to obtain "yellow cake" from Africa.

I also think that it "may" lead the way for Congressional investigations on what the reasons were that took us to war in Iraq.

While he laps-up the attention over the slideshow turned into "box office gold" -- anyone realize he did next to nothing (vs. what he's talking about), glossed over his White House years in 1 second (in the film), didn't push for Kyoto (accords done in '97, meaning Clinton/Gore punted on it, for 3 years!!), AND the Clinton/Gore team not only didn't follow-through on the CO2 front -- but 1) moved factories overseas with NAFTA, 2) brought 11-mpg mega-SUVs to soccer moms all across the USA (no truck-license required), and 3) actually eliminated Fed. gas standards that used to be required to improve for any auto sold in the USA (ask Michael Moore why he's silent about Al Gore!!).

There are more scientists defending astrology than defending "global warming," but liberals simply announce that the debate has been resolved in their favor and demand that we shut down all production. I guess they will always have their solar heated houses in Malibu where cutting production won't affect them. Arent these the same 70's liberals who said we are all going to die from "global cooling"?

I wonder why no one with a lot of money has not recreated the Pentagon attacks on 9/11 by flying a plane into a 9 foot thick steel reenforced concrete wall to see it it doesn't scratch the concrete where the wings and 12000 pound engines hit it and then only makes one hole?

Plus, I think it would be neat to video tape it and see if you could see the airplane.

For non-violent crime, as is being debated in the media. Does it mean men will also be allowed to walk free, or will it just free up a few places in order to lock up a few more men?

In a world that talks constantly of equality, does this not stink of inequality. A man and a woman could both at the same time burgle 2 different houses, the woman walks free and the man could get 6 months. Fair, i dont think so, What do you think? And remember, despite what the femanists tell you, prison affects men as it does women, we are, after all, all human. So how could locking up a man be any different than a woman?
