I care about TREASON it is the most offensive thing a VP could participate in, much more offensive than a former president receiving oral sex in the oval office. Treason should not be tolerated I hope this whole administration goes down and soon.

It is a big deal because an administration official had intentionally lied to a FBI investigation and a grand jury. He appeared to lie to cover up a hatchet job he was involved in to discredit a former ambassador by revealing his wife's classified occupation. This woman was working for the CIA, a government agency. The impact of this revelation could actually endanger her life, other agents' lives, and informants' lives. It also can reveal her (and her colleagues and informants) business activities in the Middle East (or anywhere in the world) as being espionage in nature and kills years of CIA intelligence gathering in a full-sept blow.
This is a big deal. The expense of this to the intelligence community thinks it is a big deal. Whether if you are Democrat or Republican you should be concerned by politicians (from either side) doing things like this.

"They ALL lie at some point or another. Just curious as to what the big deal is.....that is unless he starts singing about OTHER far more important LIES he knows about."
That would be the primary cause for concern. I'm not sure if Libby is going to be tight-lipped, but boy would it make things interesting if he started singing ;)

People that care about the security and well being of this country should care. People can't just going around compromising CIA agents to suit their own political purposes. This administration puts a high value on protecting government secrecy, unless their own people leak something that suits their partisan agenda. This whole trial has shown how Rove and the rest of the administration fight back against the truth with ad homonym attacks.

Yes! All Americans who resent the corrupt corporate criminals we have had in the White House for the last eleven years care that Justice was done and the Law upheld!
It is only Bush and his corporte cronies that do not give a crap about the law or our Constitution!

Libby's case is yet another chapter of the corruption and deception that goes on with the GOP.
There will be more to come.

I am sure most Americans have no idea who he is. That is a sad commentary on American political awareness.
