Forget about Osama Bin Laden and Al'Queda, I am not talking about that.

If the goverment went to far in interest of 'national security' would you become a terrorist? Maybe someone like V from the movie V for Vendetta.

And if so how far would that be? Restrictions of personal liberties, concentration (prison) camps, downright oppersion of populus, ...etc for example?

Please explain your answers if possible.

The Tennessean newspaper in Nashville reported that Gore buys “carbon offsets” to compensate for his home’s use of energy from carbon-based fuels. What is a “carbon offset,” exactly? Essentially, it’s a payment someone makes to an environmentally friendly entity to compensate for personally using non-green energy.

So far, so good. So, where does Gore buy his ‘carbon offsets’? According to The Tennessean newspaper’s report, Gore buys his carbon offsets through Generation Investment Management. a company he co-founded and serves as chairman:

As co-founder and chairman of the firm Gore presumably draws an income or will make money as its investments prosper. In other words, he “buys” his “carbon offsets” from himself, through a transaction designed to boost his own investments and return a profit to himself. To be blunt, Gore doesn’t buy “carbon offsets” through Generation Investment Management - he buys stocks.

Santa Monica, California is planning to spend 2-10 dollars of birth control vaccines on each squirrel caught. Apparenly a small percentage of squirrels may harbor the bubonic plague. Who has ever been attacked by a squirrel? For crying out loud those things don't even get close to humans. Don't you think our tax dollars could be better spent?

Just in case one day the police see a crime in a photo posted on line, the govt wants IS providers to keep records of every person who uploads photographs and images on to the web.
Can we say Fascist Bush yet?

The Bush administration has accelerated its Internet surveillance push by proposing that Web sites must keep records of who uploads photographs or videos in case police determine the content is illegal and choose to investigate, CNET News.com has learned.

That proposal surfaced Wednesday in a private meeting during which U.S. Department of Justice officials, including Assistant Attorney General Rachel Brand, tried to convince industry representatives such as AOL and Comcast that data retention would be valuable in investigating terrorism, child pornography and other crimes. The discussions were described to News.com by several people who attended the mee

There is a tremendous amount of information available through the Army's website about work camps and through general Google searches. The Army's "Civilian Inmate Labor Program" is official slavery in print and the rest of the information is all over the place.

The scary stuff Alex Jones of http://www.PrisonPlanet.com/ spews could just as easily be intimidation tactics designed to throw us off course and silence us in our quest for the 9/11 awareness and truth by making us believe that we're lucky if we ourselves are not murdered like the people in the Twin Towers on 9/11, so we'd better shut up.

There are a lot of good things in this country. There is a lot to look forward to. The whole Concentration Camp thing and citizens being turned into slave labor just doesn't sound plausible. It sounds as if the government would dig it's own grave the moment they tried to separate families and place them in work camps.

Is the govt using intimidation tactics to silence the truth seekers?
