Maybe if poor people stopped dropping out of school, and expecting the government to hand them everything on a silver platter, then he might just think about helping you out a little more.

Bush has little to do with how ambitious - or not - you and I are. Given the oportunity to become "rich" legally, how many would turn it down. Most people who are rich were either born into money or they have taken chances and worked long hard hours that others won't. America is jealous of the rich and it is wrong.
The longest day, that I can recall, was 36 hours with 6 hours to shower and sleep and get back for another 18 hr day.
I also worked 9 - 12 hours a day and went to school at night. I didn't spend more than I made and invested what I could.
I would be considered rich by some, middle class by others, poor by some and stupid for working so hard... "Rich" is realative.
I never blamed the government when I had a loaf of bread and a jar of peanut butter to last the week. It was all I could afford at the time. On pay day, I bought my weekly groceries. The next week was noodles and catsup.
If people would spend as much time and energy taking care of themselves as they do looking for something or someone to blame for not having as much as the next person, maybe they would be that person who has more.
All the government or President can do is to tax us silly and cause rediculous costs to live or to do business. That is the only legitimate complant we have on this subject.
How will people feel when even more money is taken from them, rich and poor, to give to someone else. Well guess what, they have been for decades. That is what we ask for if we support socialistic programs - like government medicine.
Sorry if it sounds harsh, but we need to stop worring about what we don't have just because someone else does.

Why is it that the poor, foreign man who comes from another country, somehow becomes a millionaire, or starts his own business while we have everything here we take it for granted.
& in other countries there is no welfare to help u with.
U r poor b/c u do not to get an education and improve your lifestyle.
Yeah, I now that there are people who grow up in Welfare and feel that there is no way out, but life is what you make of it.
Look @ all the welfare people who make something of themselves.
Some people would rather be victims that survivors.
Plus, yeah, I voted 4 Bush, my husband is in the military, and when Clinton was in office he cut the military, gave our military men no raises, our service men had no raises for a very long time when Clinton was in office. When Bush came in, he compensated for what had not been done to their salaries.
Plus, everything Kerry said was a lie, regarding what Bush did for our service men.
Yeah, I voted 4 him & don't regret it, and yeah, my husband has gone to Iraq 2 an is there now, and he is not just sitting behind a desk whinning he is going out on Sector doing his job.
So if u want to whine about why the poor stay poor, do something about it yourself to help those in need, instead of pointing the finger!

Some of these people are so damn dumb it's mind blowing. Bush does not care about ne one but his allies, he is apart of the New World Order group to keep the masses down so they can say let's get together for this common cause, what ever the cause may be poverty, aliens he don't give a *** about nothing but keeping the oath his family is apart of. His grandfather helped to finance Hitler, along with the Pope John Paul who sold cyanide gas to the Germans to help exterminate the Jews. They don't care about jack but that NWO and making that happen. The only allegiance those bastards have is with the devil, W always talks about God dumb *** probably can't spell as for my misspelled words it was by design. Thanx 4 asking

The poor get poorer because they let it happen. It's not the Presidents fault that a poor person doesn't take the time to get a free education that is always offered. All one has to do is to fill out the forms on-line and if you qualify and are poor enough, the money is yours to advance. There are also grants available to get government money to start a business of your own.
The only poor people out there are the ones that choose to be. There are other choices, but the person has to want it bad enough to get off their lazy behinds and go for it. Ohhhhh poor me just doesn't cut it anymore. They need to do something with their lives instead of complain and want money thrown in their laps.

The members of BushOilCo and friends all come from the Marie Antoinette School of Political Science, and their motto about the poor is that "If God did not want them sheared, He would not have made them sheep!" These are not good or decent men and they mean us harm. A vote for Bush is a vote for plunder and exploitation, and they have delivered for their rich friends on both.

I really despise the lame line that they all do it. They don't all do it. Incomes rose under Clinton, they fell under Bush.
Get a grip, Mr. Orange and others like you lying to yourselves (with grave consequences for the rest of us.)
Bush is making the poor poorer and the rich richer because that's why he stole the election.

We are a free society. You may work hard and be successful as many of the immigrants do that come here and take advantage of the freedom America offers. Those that work hard are rewarded for their efforts, or you can sit and blame all your problems on others.

Because as he tries to make the ultra rich even wealthier,
he's thinking the poor will become even more invisible.
They won't, Bushes legacy of economic disaster will live on
for decades to come.

It really doesn't matter who the president is. Its just how the system works.
One day....sometime soon, there won't be a middle-class...you will only have very few rich people and a lot of poor people.
