What it comes down to especially is that if you are willing to give up your own life to do so, you can cause a lot of destruction and kill many other people.
I don't think that the same plane plot could be carried out again, but it doesn't seem like there is very much that would stop an OK Federal Building like attack (which was very low tech) from recurring, unfortunately.
To above: never happened, Hannity made it up, Bush is the one who had Osama on a platter in Tora Bora and wouldn't give our military the resources they needed to capture him.

All the technology in the world will never make you 100% safe. In fact, we've been so safe for so long that I think everyone got lazy and didn't even think such an attack was remotely conceivable. Security is still pretty lacking though, why don't you come on over and find out for yourself?

You can have all the technology in the world honey, and that's not enough to protect you from pure evil. Our own security measures had to be increased, we are just too trusting of a nation. You know what they say "Nice guys always get screwed".

HUH? the 9/11 assault was done by 15 Saudis, 3 Iranians and one from Yemen. FYI: they used OUR technology to take them out.

We also have freedom, and terrorists have found ways to exploit our freedom and technology for their own evil deeds. It is the way of extremists cowards and immoral minions. I think any religion that allows this kind of atrocity should be punished, and people should stop believing in it.
