I started to get lots of those 'Nigerian' scam e-mails in my box. My ISP is the through a major phone company. I called them to change my e-mail address. A guy with a foreign accent & very poor english took my info. I had to get him to repeat everything at least a few times. Since we have many immigrants in our country I was patient & also he was very polite every time I had to get him to repeat. (My sister had told me once these guys aren't in our country, that our phone co. routes the calls to other countries but I didn't believe her.) Anyway, when I was done, I asked if he was in USA. He said "No, I'm in India." Some people say they boycott stores who buy things cheap from outside, but where I live the phone company has no competition. Phone co.rates are high so they shouldn't have to do this. Foreigners have our personal info so if they did something with it we couldn't do much if anything about it legally. Now I'm really wondering how the scammers got my e-mail address.
