There are plenty of "rich" nations in the world with abundant social programs wonderful cultural exhibits and so forth that do not have the enemy list that the US has .

The US is not the only civilzation on the globe - many other nations in fact beat the US for the top spot of highest standard of living ...............

Why is it then that the US who has never won the highest standard of living that has little to no social programs and a massive division between poor and rich could accumulate as much hatred as they have ?

I want someone to listen to a real foster parent with concerns for our children. Our foster children have no rights they are placed with the state and given to us foster parents to raise. In return we have no say in helping the court decide what is in the best interest of the child. I want these children to have a voice and for there to be no more broken families. We are a happy family but we havent much time because after a year of having these children they will be returning to a mother they have only seen 6 hour in the past ten months. These poor children are going to feel abandoned again. I have to speak out against these laws in place, can someone please guide me in the right direction. I may not be able to save my children, but there are lots more that will be facing this same tragedy.

And why would such a truly bright man make such a stupid statement?

Is it 'cause there's no correlation between intelligence and smartness? (Maybe this is what momma meant when she told me that "stupid is as stupid does" - do ya think?)

So basically Libby did what Martha Stewart did.

Bush is still in the White House. And, Libby will probably have a TV show along side Martha in a few years.

I started to get lots of those 'Nigerian' scam e-mails in my box. My ISP is the through a major phone company. I called them to change my e-mail address. A guy with a foreign accent & very poor english took my info. I had to get him to repeat everything at least a few times. Since we have many immigrants in our country I was patient & also he was very polite every time I had to get him to repeat. (My sister had told me once these guys aren't in our country, that our phone co. routes the calls to other countries but I didn't believe her.) Anyway, when I was done, I asked if he was in USA. He said "No, I'm in India." Some people say they boycott stores who buy things cheap from outside, but where I live the phone company has no competition. Phone co.rates are high so they shouldn't have to do this. Foreigners have our personal info so if they did something with it we couldn't do much if anything about it legally. Now I'm really wondering how the scammers got my e-mail address.

Using what has happened to our soldiers at Walter Reed to attack Bush yet again is disgusting. This is not a democrat or republican issue. Its as disgusting as using our soldiers and what there doing in Iraq for political gain at a time this country can't afford to show our enemy anything but a united front.

After our glorious president was finished with his usual undramatic tone, this time merely calling the conditions at Walter Reed "unacceptable" and saying nothing more, WHY didn't he order clean-up crews and licensed doctors to the military hospital?

Doesn't he want to express his support for our wounded warriors?
