I think this word "terrorist" is getting thrown around without much thought these days.

Is a sectarian militiaman a terrorist? Is an insurgent a terrorist? If there a civil war in Iraq, is it just terrorist against terrorist?

Were American minutemen terrorists? Were Confederate rebels terrorists?

If we bomb Iran, will that be a terrorist act?

I think it get used as an excuse for thinking way too much these days.

A cliche. Just like the "War on terror".

Whenever I see him on TV or a press conference I keep waiting for someone to accidently stick a pin in him and watch him deflate with a big noise and either float upward or collapse where he's standing.

Is he a real human or did someone replace a human with a robot or something?

It's odd that America keeps hearing that from the republican party. Do they always act so childish...as a party?

I haven't watched it for a long time because all they kept having stories about is Abu Ghraib prison. So I watch it tonight and guess what? They are still crying about Abu Ghraib. Then there's a story about the Sicilian Mafia and somehow they work Karl Rove's name into the story. Unbelievable.

Is the U.S. going to cease from being a superpower, and if so what will be the ramifications if it does? Will there be another dark ages like after the Roman Empire fell, or will China assume to role of the worlds major player (or perhaps another county?).
And if so how will things change for western countries?

I grew up remembering all the images of past presidents visiting foreign countries and how the people greeted them with adoration, and respect for the Americans they represented. Europe, South America, Africa, you name it!

All of them, Reagan, Clinton, Bush I, Carter, Nixon even......the list goes on.....JFK...

But Bush is so disrespected and disliked that he dare not try the same thing even in the UK! And his handlers know it. I never see him getting a popular foreign reception. Ever.

That's just the measure of the man. And how far he has lowered the image of the presidency.

Thanks Mr. President. You didn't live up to your promise that "those responsible" will be hunted down and brought to justice. Instead, Al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups have had their recruitment drives sparked and gained MANY, MANY new members. And republicans don't care.

Some other activities? Such as maybe practicing how to defend Bush's BS and to pretend he isn't incompetent in the least bit. Kind of like Tony Snow.
So what do they do?

President Bush has taken America into war, and he has raised price of oil to rates thats causing the ordinary Americans hundreds of dollars. So do you think Bush destroyed our country.

As if Bush doesn't have enough to worry about already.

I assume, like everything else, no planning has been made for the Iraqi reaction to this event.

Has anybody heard of any plans being made? What do you think will happen?

general pinochet is dead, a dictator he sure was. He killed over 100,000 thousand people and was responsible for 10,000 people missing in chile. And guess who was supported him, yes the u.s and u.k. He even got invation to the u.k by the them prime minister margreat thatcher for him to have a heart operation. He stole over 10 billion dollars of chileian public money and invested it in banks abroad while his people starved and suffered. The u.s backed him in a coup to overthrow a democraticaly elected government and take power in a bloodied coup. So was the prime minister of panama who was kiddnapped and jailed by the u.s government. Now there are lots more dictators worse then saddam hussain who the u.s hve put in power. Now is this being a hypocrite or not? or is protecting your own intrests by killing civillians and turning a peacefull country into a war torn battlefield justified?

Oh, I know, they CARE and they FEEL but, beyond that, there's no real bandwidth to their babbling pronouncements, is there?

It's actually quite pathetic. BTW, a BJ only takes like 12 minutes at most. It was the fault of the conservatives for dragging out the pointless Monica Lewinsky scandal, preventing Clinton from attending to other matters.
