Charismatic, known to be able to say nothing very loudly but really work up the emotions, angry, insane.
According to the book by Speer, Hitler in control, was actually helpful to the allied forces because of some of the stupid descisions that he enforced. Don't agree with dictator, you tend to die. Hence people sometimes make stupid descisions because the dictator is not well educated or smart enough to know his limitations.

Political genius. Sociopath. Persuasive, brilliant propaganda. Tyrant. Dictator of a totalitarian state. Use of terror as a political tool.
The use of 'genius' and 'brilliant' are not meant in approal of his ideology, just recognition of how perversely 'successful' he was. To ignore his strengths would be a grevious mistake.
